The design and logic is fantastic and seems more logical! Also I think the medium size fits better. An amazing work as usual Golan. :)

Btw, will we see this in any mod? TWA? TSR maybe?

Using it as a TSR placeholder for now. Dunno if Stygs will add it to TWA, there are many units filling its role already.

Description

Can't really decide on the size of the jetpack. Large, medium or small?
Still needs some texture work.

I've always liked the JumpJetTrooper design on principle but felt that the version in TS was too clunky and impractical. The jetpack itself needed to be a lot smaller than on the renders to allow the soldier to properly walk with it. The control sticks seemed like a disaster just waiting to be shot at and the jetpack probably needed to be AI controlled anyways as the design looks rather metastable so the soldier would probably just give EVA position and maneuver orders or use a neural uplink (it isn't EVULZ!! when you don't implant it Cyborg-style). The gun being mounted on a hand-control arm seemed like a very bad way to aim, an automatic turret (as seen on TD concepts) or an actual gun would allow either better stability or agility; similarly, a kinetic rapid fire weapon seemed like a really bad idea to mount on such an unstable package - a single low-velocity HE projectile would probably work much better. The armor would not be the regular heavy plates with the jetpack strapped around it, but a holding harness over a soft armor suit (possibly using dilatant materials to allow better flexibility) with armor plates added only on top .
