is that with or without patch 2 installed? only fix i have installed is the flashlight quickfix, and i cant seem to play on max settings (too much stuttering, especially during combat) and it takes way too long to load save games. I think I should be able to play on max settings.
I'm running AMD FX4100 3.6Ghz Quad, 16GB RAM, Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 3GB graphics card, Windows 7 Ultimate x64
fine tools are in iron forest anomaly area. go through the southeast entrance (the one next to substation workshops), then hug the south wall till you reach the southwest corner. there will be an entrance to the building with a staircase leading down (you will pass a bunker door that claims to need a key card to access, but the door will already be open). the tools are underneath the staircase when you reach the bottom floor. watch out for the poltergeist :)
apparently basic tools for sniper are at ranger station in zaton, on top of some pipes that are to the left of the main entrance of the building where the trade took place.
not sure if it's been covered already, but has anyone found the basic tools for sniper yet? i already have the fine and calibration tools. haven't tried going to substation workshops because mercenaries shoot me on sight every time i get close. can anyone confirm if they are there or not?
i had no problems the first day i played the mod. only had 1 ctd in about 4-5 hrs of gameplay. started playing the game a little today and i've gotten 5 ctds in less than an hour.
