I had this error. I forget if it had to do with the order of installation required for this mod. If you want, try again to install a completely empty and (fresh) version of Deus Ex, make sure to run it to the title screen immediately after and before anything else. Then, install the multiplayer patch, and finally GMDX last.

I dont know if this is correct, but did you install the multiplayer patch (DeusExMPPatch1112fm.exe) BEFORE installing GMDX? If not, do it and re-install.

I'm not sure if this is a valid suggestion or if anyone thought of this, but I searched "installer creator" on a search engine and it seems possible that someone could use one to create an installer for this game? Just throwing it out there.
