Wow, map has been worked on quite a bit since I saw it last.

Game pad controller is probably .01% of total development time, but will probably net them a extra 5-10% in sales. It's pretty much a no brainer.

64x is your Java version, not your OS. Common mistake here. Just get a 64 bit version of java and it will boot fine.

#2 is your java version. Update to 64 java and it will boot.

Sheet ropes are not implemented in this build. It will return, something to do with the current sprites being used I believe.

I agree that bug fixes should be a top priority. Bad press is not something that you want, I've seen more than a few scathing rants by folks that cant get the game to run properly. I've never had issues with any of the builds and I'm sure most haven't, but it's those few with issues that tend to be the loudest. (Besides Mathas, ofc)

Orlly? You've fought off zombies with a frying pan and know this for a fact? Personally, I think putting yourself within arms reach of something trying to eat you would make landing a perfectly aimed headshot with a cooking utensil quite difficult. But hey... you speak from experience.

Yes, you went the wrong way.

This game is still in development. The town is only a very small part of a very large map and I'm pretty sure the map is even generated beyond a certain point. Next time you spawn head west (directly up) and that will lead into the city, however, do so VERY carefully.

can't help with playing the demo through desura but you might try downloading the demo straight from the indiestone website. It is standalone and you don't need desura to install it.

Gotcha, just found the watering can but I died and need to find the trowel again. Doh!

crafting is now reduced to a no-brainer right click. If you have one craftable item, you right click it and you get a menu where you can either craft an item, or it will tell you what you are missing to craft it.

Be sure the item is in your main inventory and not in a bag.

In this build several crafting recipes are no longer valid that were craftable in 1.5.

It was in a garage of a house. I've found most tools and such in places you would expect, garages, sheds and the like. I found a hammer on the corpse of a zombie (open the loot window, a zombie will appear as cuppord you can loot). Still haven't found out how to plant seeds yet so any help would be appreciated.

Could someone help me with farming? I've got the trowel and seeds, both in packets and not. I can dig a plot and right click it bringing up the option "Sow Seed", but when I click it, nothing happens. I've checked the wiki and it simply says to "sow seeds" - I'm trying too.. doh.

What am I missing?

#1 Alpha 522 build 6 appears to be the latest build, why it's labeled such and not 2.9.8b I do not know.

#2 The UI shown on steam is an older UI, the UI in the Alpha 522 build is the latest UI. Why did it change, that is simple, the game is still in development and changes are to be expected and without notice.

#3 If you are playing it through Desura it is activated.

I'm a bit confused. I bought PZ back in 2011 and just shot it over here today. After verifying my install and updating a 153MB file, I check the properties and it says I've got Alpha(522), Build 6, installed. So.... that's a bit confusing. Am I on the new build or do I need to download and reinstall PZDesura_PC.zip (2.9.8b)? I'm basically on dialup over here so these file sizes are killing me.
