Hey, I have a feeling that this mod is stopping me from going on any further in Onderon. If anyone has a free moment and wouldn't mind taking a look? I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance

Hey I have an issue with this mod.

It makes everything in the game look beautiful but I regularly get freezes and eventually the game crashes giving this report:

Rendering thread exception:
General protection fault!

History: GMatrix2D::Swao()Address = 0x10bb5c66 (filename not found) [in D:\Origin Games\Mass Effect\Binaries\Mass Effect.exe]
Gmatrix2D::Swap() Adress = 0x10bbf1a6 (file name not found) [in D:\Origin Games\Mass Effect\Binaries\MassEffect.exe]

And it goes on...

I first assumed this was a problem with ME it's self, but soon found out that it is an issue with either having outdated drivers (mine are all up to date) or insufficent hardware for the game.

My system specs are shown below, and are more than able to run Mass Effect 1:

OS: Windows 8
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2350M CPU @ 2.30GHz 2.30 GHz
Memory (RAM): 4GB
Graphics driver : Nvidia GeForce 610M
System type: 64-bit Operating System x64-based processor

So my guess was that I was unable to handle your mod. After looking around I found a solution which stopped the crashing and freezing, or at least greatly reduced it, by deleting the BIOEngine config file everytime before you boot the game.

This made the game and mod run fine, however some of the textures (some armors and small structures e.g. desks look as bad as they did in the vanilla game.)

Do you have any idea how this could be? Did I install the mod correctly? I remember it only asking me to locate the "second disc" file on the install, not any of the others.

Is there any other way of getting around this issue without having to frequently delete BIOEngine? Even if it means reducing the graphics quality of the mod?

Thanks in advance.
