Hhe, congrats to JeffMOD. I think he had a very interesting question too :)
Wow, this came out of nowhere, I thought you stopped working on this long ago.
Great to see another demo release!
Man I'm digging those ceilings, how hard were those to build on GoldSRC?
Those went fast. :P
Also what am I supposed to do with these codes anyway (For future reference, in case I happen to come across one before open-beta)? Is there a site I need to enter them into?
Oh, thank you! Yes, I will appreciate that! :D
Great job on the menus :>
And nice to see you got a new Beta Alyx skin. I recall seeing an Alyx model in the Missing Information mod that included a new model for her, complete with knee high boots and wetsuit instead of a reskin over her old jeans. I reckon that is the Beta-Alyx you are going to include in the mod?
Regardless, I look forward to what you have to show us. :D
Dude, Strider Mountain with Subtsance? That's ******* awesome! :D
I remember playing this back in the day when it was still fresh, that I said it would be cool to see Substance in other mods and mappacks :)
You planning on getting new skins for some enemies and updating a few guns?
Anyway, I look forward to next week, dude!
Hey man, any updates? :)
Upgrade to 2.0? Wow! When is the release window for the latest version? :D
Awesome! I look forward to both of these fine mods! :D
It was something like this
Among other things, like a room filled with anime artpieces of two well endowed young men going through the entire Kama Sultra in one night.
Bit of an immersion breaker, eh'? :P
You sly, silver-tongued devil you :>
But seriously, I hope the beta is damn awesome and the testers have a hell of a time :D
This isn't the Unity engine, where you can just drop assets in like lego blocks.
Wilson and BMS run on different Source Engines, with the Devs behind Black Mesa affectionately calling their build the "Frankenengine", utilizing code from every source engine update in the last ten years.
Converting Wilson Chronicles to the Frankenengine will be a god damn nightmare.
Hot DAMN dude! You went above and beyond! This looks amazing!
And to think, most players will only get less then a minute to survey this entire area on the tram ride :C
I'd like to imagine several scientists rounded the corners too fast and end up tripping and sliding down the wheelchair ramp.
Maybe you can put up a warning sign about that :D
This is splendid to hear, I was expecting the worst with the silence. Can't wait to see what you have to show us!
It's been awhile, any obstacles overcome in terms of development?
Hang in there, bud. It sounds like you are getting better :)
While I haven't touched any levels yet, I hope you don't implement the obscene graffiti that populated FakeFactorys levels, they were real immersion breakers and did nothing to add to the HL2 lore or world (I must have seen dickbutt 20 times playing through it all)
If you do add graffiti or scrawling notes, I hope they are lore friendly and feel right at home in the HL2 beta universe :)
Your take on the Test Chamber is phenomenal. I've played many older mods that simply copy-pasted the original map into their own pack with mixed results, but you went the extra mile.
I can't wait to see more of it :)
I'll need to keep an eye on this (And remove the older file from my system). I look forward to what you have to show us :)
Looks cool, you have yourself a watcher :)
Excellent news! :D
I'd donate a little bit, but I only use Paypal :(
While saddening, this is splendid news. I hope something comes out of this :D
Nice to have you back! :)
I just learned, this phenomenal mod shares the same name as a very bad Direct-to-video movie.
By the way, fantastic attention to detail, the intervals you have shown us are awesome!
How far are you coming along with the others?
While some areas seem too much like "FakeFactory", for the most part, the atmosphere feels exactly like the dark and oppressive nature of the original HL2-Beta :)
Very cool stuff, bud :)
Very cool, nice changes. It should really spice up a playthrough :)
Ooooh, I like some good, hidden Easter eggs :)
