PAYNE TO THE MAX
Hey man, keep on trucking. Glad to hear this is still going places ^^
Two of my favorite games ever, in one package? It must be Christmas! :D
Nice to hear your mapping has improved :)
Wow, hot damn! Thank you so much! When I have more freetime, I should dig through these. I only have a good portion of the archive so this will be great to back up onto an SSD.
Thank you so much!
Very cool improvisation :)
And nice to see another update!
Was thinking about this mappack awhile back, glad to see it is still showing lifesigns :)
Very nice work, looks very crisp and detailed, considering how Far Cry was never intended to be a Corridor shooter :)
I say use Xbow's. They are a signature weapon to Half-Life and I feel they fit the sci-fi theme of the Timeline series.
Well, I suppose a demo release is better then no release at all. I hope this gets finished in one way or another sometime down the road :(
Keep on trucking, dudes! :D
Wow, once my internet becomes stable again, I'll be sure to give this a go! :D
Oooh, this is juicy news!
Judging from all these new media screens, I take it the list of custom maps is going to be quite long?
I was just about to ask about custom map support as well, as I have an external HDD containing quite a lot of custom Doom 3 maps of varying quality and playing those on Redux would be pretty cool :)
Sad to hear this news, especially after such a prolonged moment of silence.
Best of luck in your future endeavors!
Just reinstalled crysis as well, can't wait!
Well, I'm just glad you are still around. Nice to hear this mod ain't dead either :)
Very nice collision of the beta and the vanilla. I always look forward to these updates :)
I read a developer interview Gamespot.com for Battlefield 1 that stated this mod was an inspiration for the current setting in that upcoming game. I wonder how that must feel as a modding team, that you inspired AAA developers to make such a bold change of pace :)
Getting a nice HL2 vibe here, can't wait to play this! :D
Wow, this should be cool to see! Would be nice to see some well known megawads with some new weapons with Brutal Doom :)
Thanks for the clarification :)
I always wondered what happened to this beauty of a mod. Sad to see it ceased development but I'm also glad you decided to share what you had built :)
I'm quite stunned by the high level of detail in these corridor levels. Indoor segments of the Retail Far Cry were certainly not the best and many attempts in Far Cry SP modding in the past have been passable at best and absolutely horrible at worst.
These maps are top-notch man! Keep up the great work! :)
Looking forward to playing through Doom 3 again with this mod. :)
Cool stuff, I hope College isn't kicking your *** though, juggling School and Modding seems to be a common problem for all modders :P
I second this notion. This must be sent to every member on MODDB :)
Hey man, thanks a bunch for this! I've been running AMD's since 3 of my Nvidia Cards fried on me (two while playing Crysis and one while playing Rage) so it's great to see someone lend an extra hand to those who run other GPU's.
Also, since this is in the Target field for the shortcut, can't we simply paste the same into the "Set Launch Options" on Doom 3 in our game Library?
Thanks for the quick response! :)
While a lot of maps and mods come with readmes, a few AVP 2 map's I've downloaded sadly don't. I take it if a few stragglers don't have a readme, is that okay? If not, I can just leave it out of the pack.
I've been downloading a hell of a lot of mods from gamefront (pretty much anything with a SP map) and I might just throw them into the addons as a mega pack. Is that allowed? I'm trying to piece together all the readmes so if I do there will be credit when it is due.
hey thanks for this. Was going to see if I could find it elsewhere as I had memories playing this on my first computer.
