Practically played every HL mod I could get my hands on, and that is by far one of the best brushwork tanks I have ever seen.
You should play Moddb.com for inspiration, that mod featured an astounding level of detailed brushwork vehicles and architecture you could draw inspiration from. (Can't remember if there was a tank in it though, however, the trucks were absolutely amazing)

Hey, I was thinking about playing Underhell again, but before I started, I wanted to know if there was a little fix for a certain problem I experienced the first time.
I'm not exactly the stealthiest player, so most of my time spent crawling around in the darkness turned into a one-man war against the legions of the undead. However, the chaos inflicted heavy property damage that resulted in plenty of pc gibs lying around. (I also must admit I'm not exactly a marksman...)
However, with so many pieces laying around the map, new gibs would simply disappear when objects are destroyed, as it seems I had reached the max gib limit for objects in the map (Those keyboard and pc gibs are permanent, it seems. Unlike boxes or other destructible objects).
Is there a way to increase the gib count so pc's don't simply disappear when they are struck by gunfire rather than turn into gibs? Like through a console command I am unaware of?
Help would be appreciated, I look forward to playing through underhell again on hard :)

To fix the turning bug in sky-mesa (as well as a lot of other mods) you must copy your "cl_dlls" folder from the valve folder into your half-life folder.
Or, you can sign up for the HL-beta on steam, they released a bug fix for this issue.

That is a goldsource bug, it happens in countless mods, although I'm not entirely sure as to why. I think it occurs more often if the elevator goes through a map change, the level may rise above the players feet during loading so they get stuck in the floor. The best counter-measure is to simply jump before the elevator hits the ground-floor or changes maps.
Either that, or noclip your way out of trouble :)
But for developers, they should avoid map-changes in elevators while they are in motion, the level should load once the elevator has reach the designated floor and stops moving.
The maps are very bare and the use of blood is quite excessive. Try to spice up the maps with objects and props that you think would fit in with the environment , and tone down the use of blood :)
