The Dragons are Danny's bodyguard unit. They show up when Danny spawns in turn 70 I believe. Unlike custom battle where the 3 dragons are their own unit, in the campaign they will show up together.

There is already the submod with official Game of Thrones soundtracks. We are not allowed to distribute it because of copyright but you can download it from other sources on the internet. That's the most appropriate music for a GoT mod.
As about general's recruitment, we find it redundant because of the 10 turns per year script. The current generals won't die for many turns and since most settlements are castles, the player doesn't need them garrisoned with generals because of public order. Also the scope of this mod is to live and recreate the story of the Great Houses throughtout the main characters of the books and the TV show. Which makes extra generals almost redundant. In any case the game itself will offer candidates for adoption from time to time. In other words, we won't add recruitable generals.
If we speak on naming conventions, the other factions can go only for independence movements from the Iron Throne. But there is also an ancillary called "Crown of Westeros" which is available in King's Landing. In order to get it, the player must declare the Kingship and send a family member from the main branch of the faction to King's Landing.

Hello, GoT is standalone, you don't need Westeros 0.53 or any other mod in order to play this one.
Hello! No, as far as I know there isn't any submod for the voices, at least not any related to Game of Thrones. If there are custom voices mod for Vanilla Medieval 2, they should work for this one too.
In order to get both you have to make updates on the cfg files of either mod. As you said they both share the same name.
There is a subfolder inside the main GoT folder with the necessary files and instructions about how to add the TV show music.
I'm glad it is working well for you. No, House Tully hasn't received any update on their models as Mr.Nygren and me like very much the models created by Vltima Ratio. There have been some small updates on some Wildling models, Night's Watch models, the Hill Tribes of the Vale, the Dothraki Bloodriders and some Stormland units have new variations on their shields. The rest are same as they were in 1.2. We already started working on more scripts, nothing related to the Game of Thrones but some cool scripts imported from other great mods of Medieval 2 Total War. So expect another update soon.

Yes, I'm sure about it. I created the sprites mainly for aesthetic reasons but also to improve performance for some players.
There are no settlements in custom battle only some battle maps. I've tried to create custom battle maps with the new settlements but most of them won't even work.
Yes, such a shame, they are essential for this story. Could you try to download and install the very first version of the Retro Mod? Or any of the versions released in 2019 or before? They have far fewer scripts, if they do work, then I might simply cut down some of the scripts for the players facing issues with the current campaign script.
Hi! All the units in game have their proper sprites, even the dragons who have so many. None of the units will look shiny from the distance.
Hello! The campaign script itself doesn't have any bug, and honestly I don't have any idea why for some people it doesn't work. I've checked the log file of another user on the previous version and found nothing. You can PM me on this account or the Firestorm_GOT account and send the log there, but I can't promise it will help to fix it.
All the versions you see listed on the "files" page work with the 4GB patch.
Are you saying the last one working for you was 3.0? In this case the reason are the models. That was long before I joined the team but in GoT 4.0 Mr. Nygren and Vltima Ratio introduced the TV show style models. If they won't work for you it is either because you haven't patched your MTW2 Kingdoms with the 4GB patch or your game is a pirate version and the patch won't work anyway. In any case 3.0 is still available to download in this site.

I can't see any other reason why it crashes as soon as you select the faction. Your medieval game hasn't enough memory to load the heavy models on the campaign and battle map. If you have a legit MTW 2, try to repatch with the 4GB.
Install the 4GB patch for Medieval II Total War please.
Somebody is working on a separate mod about the House of the Dragon series.

Hello, thank you for downloading and playing GoT. The issue with the Greyjoy Axe Throwers, could be only related to the path of your installation. In the descr_projectile the path of the throwing axe is: mods/GoT/data/models_missile/axe.cas
In case you have a different path, just edit the text there, in order to match your path.
I uploaded the mod twice, November and December. The latest one should have a fix for it. The issue wasn't Jon Snow getting resurrected every turn, just the event message being repeated over and over again.
Hi, you can play with minimal UI in this case, the option you will have to scroll around the desktop in order to show up the icons. The artwork has bern done like 10 years ago, never worked on it, just added some icons for the new factions.
No, never do it. The mod's cfg file are just for the mods. Will try to find something about these issues and if I do it, will post an article about it.
