[Fixed] So it turns out I was an idiot twice over. My problem ended up being simply that my Anti-Virus software was messing with my install. All I had to do was make exemptions for Freelancer and Crossfire 2.0 and everything worked fine.

Also, the reason why I didn't see a fix on SWAT forums was because you can't see replies to threads without registering. Kind of confusing in my opinion, but still my fault.

[Issue] So I have a problem with Crossfire 2.0. It seems like the client isn't working for me or something.

I've un-installed Freelancer and Freelancer Mod Manager. Deleted all traces of either on my computer. Even checked the My Documents and used the search function just in case.

I then Installed Freelancer completely clean directly into C:/, with no User Data or Saved Games left over. I installed the Freelancer Mod Manager 1.31 that came with the Crossfire Download, also directly into C:/ . Then Installed Crossfire 2.0 into my FLMM directory. I unchecked the box marked [Read Only] on both Freelancer's and FLMM's folders. And finally after all that I managed to activate the mod through FLMM.

[Problem] After that I started the client, which seemed to work fine. I started the updates for single-player and it updated 208 files, something close to that anyways. Then it tried to start the game, and it stopped itself, giving me an error code that's too quick for me to see.

I've tried re-installing this clean about 4 times now and every single time it's the same problem. I've tried messing with the Read-Only checks, changed where I installed Freelancer to, and even tried starting in compatibility mode just in case. Every single time it's the same problem.

I've also searched your forums and it's an issue marked as solved but I can't find where you put the solution to the problem. I would post this on Crossfire's site but every post like this is marked as a duplicate.
