What could be cool is if you did this: Remove the 'worm hole' effects, and instead place a Mass Relay model in its place?

Those were destroyer-class! Not Sovereign-class....
Thanks for your interest! Sometimes even I am up late re-reading that thing, remembering :D
Eventually another update will be released here, I'm trying to get our crew back in shape from the winter break.
We appreciate every thanks we get, it really encourages us to continue :) (So do bug reports!)
I'll have our event coder look at this. Likely an event to disable it must not be functioning right. Do you know what year that was in?
Did you download the hotfix? This solves it.
There is a hotfix currently being uploaded to fix some release issues.
I know :(. We kept putting it off, fixing things, changing things. In fact, we rewrote the naval doctrine tree three times before becoming satisfied with it.
I've uploaded some new screenshots. We're releasing soon. :)
After this mod just about died from school and real-life, it seems as if we've pulled her back together. I've pulled our team out of hibernation and back into production again. First up is some work on the naval side of things, then to air and sea doctrines.
Ministers are very much a work in progress. To come up with complete minister databases between the few of us that are working on it would be an immense job at the moment. We dealt with the more pressing gameplay items first. Just think of the number of ministers needed: 10 default per country, with minimum 3 replacements for every 5 years. That is 60 per 10 years per country. That is 600 ministers for 10 years for just the major nations alone.
We don't have that time yet, but in due time proper ministers will be given to every nation :)
Normally it should be 'event' and the name. Random events were re-added literally a day after this release, and will be in the next patch.
As for airbases and naval bases: It could be I forgot to add those as 'activated' in the tech screen, I'll take a look.
Cleaned up the comments a bit, so...
I've added your list of bugs to our master one, Chippothehippo. Thanks for the help!
Anything absolutely game-breaking yet?
This will stick to Arsenal of Democracy. Based on what I've seen in Paradox coding, it would be a nightmare for me to convert.
We will see in the future though, I won't rule it out entirely.
Those particular ones will give a boost to unit moral, as well as give VP and research bonuses.
It is out guys! Enjoy, and please report any bugs you guys find.
Awesome, thanks :)
We have a section where we encourage people to post their suggestions for improvements (or any bugs they find)
That can be located here:
Files are prepared, and with the exception of one minor bug in the tech screen, we are good to go.
I'll upload tomorrow after I get back from classes, and then all we need to do is wait for it to be authorized by the ModDB servers :)
I would advise to wait till we release, which is probably in the next few days. A fresh, fully patched version of AoD will work best with our next release.
We've only got two items left on our list, which I think I can complete tomorrow. One is a tech fix, and the other is a english file issue (unknown string wanted errors)
There are several screenshots of the various tech screens in our media images. Most are relatively up to date, though some changes have been made since.
There is a link to our infantry tech tree.
We strove to keep it relatively simple, yet provide adequate tech to cover the time period.
Another addition that we decided to work on this release as opposed to the next release is a proper working Chicago Pact AI. This will make playing as the Soviet Union more entertaining :)
I did a playtest of our latest build and I am very excited for the way things are going compared to our first release. Other then some graphical improvements to the events, I cannot find much to complain about. Most bugs have been solved, the new file-sharing system for the mod is working great and seamlessly, and things are progressing well.
That, and the awesome events I am sure you guys will like. I am posting a media image of one of many events you will see as a major nation, for those interested.
Quote abit of coding changes, and gameplay as well. I would suggest buying it if you have not, it is on steam for $14.99 USD, and if you liked HoI II and Armageddon I guarantee you will like Arsenal of Democracy.
It has always been for Arsenal of Democracy, but when I initially made the posting on ModDB, AoD was not an available game choice to mod.
There are a few Real life issues causing yet again more delays. I won't go into too much detail on these boards about it. I yet again have to thank everyone for their patience, I know I gotta be getting on some people's nerves with the constant delays here >_<. I do apologize, I never intended this patch to drag out as long as it has. It just seems nothing is going right for me at the moment!
We are just working on fixing some coding errors with the newest content we added since Christmas. I thank you all for your patience!
Good news though: My uploading now works again - so once it is done I should not have any issues getting it to the site.
I again have delayed the release of the mod patch to implement a very awesome event chain - one I do not think I could release the patch without (and have a good conscience). I guarantee this will be worth the delay of a day or two.
..and by today I meant tomorrow ;)
I am adding some last minute coding to hopefully improve the game-play experience (several people told us that the low IC was actually making it less fun to play - the new change I am play-testing before uploading), and I intend to upload today :)Thank you for the support.
I apologize for missing the Christmas promise by a few weeks :(. I hope you guys will like this newer version!
Uploading is stopping after 2 minutes for some reason, and I do not have time to fix it before I leave for my trip. I'll be back on the 27th to figure out what the heck is going on.
Merry Christmas everyone!

I am the head of Team 1964, which is currently working on 1964, a Arsenal of Democracy mod based off of the AAR 'Democracy's Last Legs'. I do the majority of the coding and organizing, while doing some graphical work here and there.
