GREAT EPIC AWESOME MOD...Violent and epic gunplay,superb particles and gore system,very nic explosions and slowmo kills,and nice new monsters. It's in beta stage,but it dosn't have many bugs....only some minor glitches and small bugs.
This is Brutal Quake as its Finest. Of course I hope that in near future Quake 1.5 will be compatible with Quake expansions and Arcane Dimensions mod and with newer Darkplaces Engine and with HD texture or compilations like Quake HD. Right now it's blast and every Quake fan should play this mod.

Its the biggest COD 2 mod so far and it's awesome,but it have some little flaws.One of them is weapons sounds.I was able to fix some of them like weapons sounds and FX. The same fire sound was shared by few weapons like MG or smg and rifles.The second flaw is too many the same missions with almost none changes. It will be better to have less missions but every should be different. The last flaw imho was very little change in special effects like bullet impacts. Becouse of these weak fx firefights are steril and they dont pump adrenaline as they should be. Gore system is very nice and realistic but body hit effects are less visible.Other minor issues like scripting,dialogs quality and lack of music are not game breaking,but still visible/hearable.Some skins and models are not perfect,like MP34 model wich is incorrect and share model with erma smg.
Anyway I'm very impressed with Slikk1 work,because he done gigantic/humungous/epic work with reasseble smaller mods to one great WWII single player experience. I hope that HTCM 2.0 will be much better,with more unique misisons and gears like weapons,vehicles,uniforms etc and with better immersion.
Anyway the firts version have very high potential to be the best WWII single player shooter ever. If you like WWII, you should definitely play HTCM mod,and download my Addon for best experience :)
