A very cool spin that suffers from being confined to original campaign imo. The balancing changes in particular are all over the place, I don't think it can be improved without significantly reshuffling combat encounters, which vanilla D3 single often tied to player's progression. In the end, it's a blast to play when the new design clicks, but I doubt I'll have the patience to persevere through the places where it struggles.

Neat experiment that doesn't quite transcends into something more. Would benefit from a focus to tighten mechanics and controls a bit, instead of broadening the content.

Even as a janky tease for a things to never come, it's quite a good one.

Artistically it is interesting, gameplay changes are conceptually neat, and the amount of work put into it is inspiring to say the least. But the actual level and combat design never came together for me, puzzle solving, traversing and fighting being equally tedious. So unfortunate.

Encounter design is rather neat, level design is inventive but uneven, and optimization/playtesting is severely lacking. Overall flawed but cool.

Had plenty of fun with this one, but the level/encounter design seems to peak somewhere at map 2-3 and then nosedives from there. I appreciate the attempts at visual and gameplay variety, but would seriously recommend playing up to the third map at most, maybe check out the visuals of the next one with cheats/letsplays. Those first few maps are pretty solid, though.

While its attempted gameplay spins and stylistic choices are admirable, it's just unfinished in every way. Even for a "beta demo", it's at most a basis of a basis.
