Greetings! You are watching profile of RnL, MoW, CoD, MoH, CS etc. player.
So see you on the battlefield!
Where did you get the models of American/British Airborne troops? Or are the creator of them?
"A Bridge Too Far" was an afflatus for this diorama, though yet I am not skilled enough to make proper Operation Market Garden diorama as I would like it to look like :)
Few months ago I did find them in MoW fan-page on vk.com, the mod was called "France" and was on 1.10 stable version.
Unfortunately, I am not able to send you a link to this particular modification, though I've been looking for it and did not find it :)
My favourite WWI MG, no doubt.
Nice model, Gioconda!
Wow, masterwork, those are spectacular.
It looks like Men of War 2 imo. You sure you did not upload some leaked content from it? :)
Wow! They are incredible!
Can't wait to load&play your mod!
you need to install cyrylic font fix:http://www.mow-center.pl/fontfix/
Is this a part of you minimod you mentioned some time in GEM fan page here? If so, I'm more than amazed, awesome models :)
Let me check it for you, lazy-***:
'‘Battle of Empires: France’ will come first. It will feature full singleplayer, mission editor and LAN cooperative multiplayer. A bit later after the release we will make a free Beta test of multiplayer and cooperative multiplayer through the Internet. '
There is no screenshot with model that is yours.
The argument stating that 'people who use greenlight do not always know what they are voting for' is just simply absurd and I will not waste time to explain why, it explains itself and represents the lack of any other arguments.
I do not care about those people and how sad they are, still most of them will propably download BoE via torrent or something else, as all they want is to have fun in the editor or whatever.
Again, I assume you don't have much in common with modding, and modding community where 'haters gonna hate' is more common than constructive criticism (like yours, which helped me to see this problem in different perspective, thank you btw.).
It is your problem with creators turning back on their fans, and it reminds me a common situation on many mod pages with people going crazy when the mod was not updated for some time.
I am very sorry I am not the creator of the Battle of Empires, and I cannot be 100% sure of volchonok and his team actions, again I will say the same thing, that I've been following this since the very beginning and (sorry for haughtiness) I bet I know more about it than all of those people saying 'i will not pay for this, it sucks i have to pay for game, which is infact a mod, lolwut'.
PS. I never tried to be offensive towards you, but I am happy you wasted time on reading my list.
I will, and I don't find it a waste of time, sorry.
Please, read what I did write in my earlier posts.
Here's a little thing that will show you how BoE was created.
1.Idea of a free-mod, WWI-theme.
2.Reskin of vanilla textures.
3.Importing some equipment, weapons etc.
5.Idea of a free total modification for Men of War, with original models, missions, sounds.
6.Creation of free total modification.
7.Proposition from Best Way of making a full-game, which will cost money. (!!!)
8.All done, steam greenlight done. We are home.
You see, 99% of mods have just those 6 first steps, so ''And if they did not think of any money at all, as you so boldly suggest, then why does this mod now have a price and gone under the fake guise of a game?" is illogical, BECAUSE step 7 explains everything, why don't you just admit it?
Now, as for fans. If you say so many people are against paying for BoE, then why was it greenlit? Why so many people voted for so it could get 5th place in like 2 weeks. This just doesn't make sense, pal.
It seems that it's just you and a very small number of people that are against it.
Well, that's all for me.
I will buy it, you will not.
End of discussion?
P.S. Thank you for calling me a fool. Now I am more than 100% sure that I'm right.
They did not know and did not dream about cooperation with developers of vanilla MoW, and same as any other modmaker they did not even think about any money at all.
You are not going to buy this game 'out of principle', I do accept this.
Case closed, ad acta.
As for mod/game matter, I did wrote in my last post that Battle of Empires will propably be moved to games section. I agree it is now misleading. As I am not a member of the Battle of Empires team and I don't know anyone in this particular team personally, I believe the developers have no time for moving BoE to right place, as they are busy polishing it. I find it strongly possible, because I've been tracking this mod since I created an account here, on moddb, and never lack of updates was caused by anything else than lack of time, believe me, I read a lot on BoE page here and even in russian in cnews forum. Here comes the next matter you decided to discuss. I did now my homework and I want to point out that I've remember this mod since the day I made an account here, in 2009, and I strongly believe I know, how long does it take to make a total modification (which, in some cases, luckily, turns into fullgame). And I believe BoE is one of them.
Third matter, status of BoE is that almost everything is completed, and the developers are not adding anything new, but just testing it, or replacing with something better.
And yes, I do find BoE special, I love history of WWI and I find lack of games in this particular period of XX century warfare and XIX century tactics very sad. And I'd pay any price to see it.
I hope this comment clearly represents my statement.
Developers will surely move this page to games sections after the game will be released. Moddb is not only about mods, my friend. As you propably know, many developers create pages of games that haven't beed released yet, and even for those that cannot be modded.
Principle is that a very low number of modders get a proposal for cooperation with the developers of the game they are modding. Another principle is there is a very low number of modders, who do refuse it.
Battle of Empires took a lot of time to be completed, propably a lot more than any other mod you are thinking of.
You obviously don't understand and don't want to understand that Battle of Empires is a great chance for volchonok and the rest of the team to have a smooth start in game developing companies, that I'm sure will look forward to cooperate with them.
And for that I'm going to pay for Battle of Empires. And I'll be happy to do that, when the game comes out.
oh, stop it you ;3
Why don't you just let them earn some damn money for something you-have-no-bloody-idea how much time they spent on and be a damn happy player to an upcoming great community of Battle of Empires game.
'It costs soooo much, herp, oh hell, it's propably the most expensive thing i ever bought, derp. Don't be a kiddo.'
no, it's just the fantasy.
Because it would mean re-making the game.
Say what, volchonok? :)))))
What about them, eh?
So the editor only in the very last release?
Too bad, was hoping to get my hands on it even before starting the game :(
1C Company is not the developer of any Men of War game, but the publisher. The developer is Best Way, for more info about cooperation between Great War team and Best Way, read the latest news.
True, but it was first issued in mid 1967 (though not to everyone), while the American intervention started a couple of years before. Thing is, the M16A1 was the last version of M16 issued during Vietnam War, so I just assume it would be more accurate to have it as the very stock M16 (like first upgrade is the bird-cage flash hider, and second the 30rnd mag - issued in 1970-71+ - proof - Ar15.com)
Well then, today's news are propably the most legendary of all time! Been waiting for your game since first screenshots here on moddb (I even remember the first weapon models :)) so it's like dream came true :)
Also, got my friends mobilised to vote on greenlight, and I wish you it won't take long :)
Good luck on final steps :)
No demo then?
Check the muzzle brake in your M16, historically accurate is the open prong one from early version.
Can't wait for the demo!
The only thing I will write here is "A realistic and historically accurate environment for players to immerse themselves."
And no, the photo you provided is just propaganda-style and saw no combat at all.
Regulations and general orders ARE equate to what was done in the field. Months of training just make it. Still, burning your finger is far batter than getting killed because your sten stopped shooting.
And don't feel offended, I really appreciate your work.
In the end, sorry for delay of my respons. I just got lost in time and space for some time ;)
Calm before the storm?
