and i have a toshiba satellite L750

OK PLEASE HELP
i have updated my drivers many times and i was told to do that when this happens.
i bought the demo for amnesia and tried to run it and at first i didnt change the settings for graphics etc.
but when the game came up, and normally it would show a dark hallway and a torch and the title plus profile select. but when it came up that wasnt there so i proceeded to playing the game and still nothing, the crosshair was there and i could pull up my journal and all that perfectly fine but the screen was black and i coudnt see anything and i know its not normal since in amnesia when you're in the dark long enough you can see a bit. so i proceeded to turning down my graphics settings for the game all the way down and the same thing happened pleaaaaaaaase help i really want to play this game.
