Yeah, with mods companies generally don't bother. But when you say you're a standalone game, you might get in trouble. If it's good they want to get money from it, if it's bad they are scared that it stains the brand.

Can you please get me some references for your statement? I'm all about accuracy and stuff. But I don't go about opinions. All sources I have found on Dane axes state that Dane Axes include both M and L blades, this one being type M.
If you can prove to me with real historical sources that I'm in the wrong, i'll gladly retract my statement and not call this a Dane axe anymore.

Will the AT-RT be as fast an nimble as it is in the series? It always frustrates me that in the game these things are as slow as tanks, While they were designed as one of the fastest all terrain attack support vehicles...

Yeah, I'll see, it all depends on they way they implement modding for weapons. In warband you can switch javelins to use them as spears, so maybe a similar thing for swords to do a mordhau.
I do the sculpting, if necessary, with blender. But it's only necessary for complicated shapes like sword handles or decorations.
Sounds logical, but there are multiple designs and findings of the axes and they were used in major parts of Europe. Lots of depictions have a longer part on the lower side.
Besides that, the piercing was meant for flesh not mail. If you have seen testing videos, proper mail is very hard to pierce, even with dedicated piercing weapons. An axe as light as this one with a blade not dedicated to piercing and unaligned with the line of the handle will be unable to effectively penetrate any proper mail from the time.
No matter, this mod is about reproducing the weapons from Skallagrim's collection, and this is the way his Dane axe is shaped.

its the hardness of learning a new tool, when your used to another. uv unwrapping in blender is actually one of the easiest things. with a few click you got a sweet unwrap. its just different than your used to, and it takes some time to figure out the handy tricks. you'll get over it

That was more a message to skalls fans. I actually messaged him on his facebook page, and facebook tagged it as seen. So he has read it. But don't worry.
I did tell him, but he didn't respond yet, maybe in a laters stadium. The game is not even out yet of course :)
I will have to see how the modding system is going to work, but I suppose yes. This allows people too both make awesome customization as well as abominations of the swords. And it might help with getting the trowing pommel to work.
