I'm a M.Sc from the Computer Science department at Aalborg University in Denmark. I've studied game development at DADIU, as part of my specialization in games on my master's degree and specialized in HCI. Currently, I work as a Project Manager for TimePlan Software in Denmark. I dedicate a lot of my spare time to grow in this role, while I also do investments in my own company. I don't see myself working on game projects in the near future. I have been working on BZSmod since 2007 with level design, programming, and project management. BZSmod has been a great platform to learn and develop my skills related to software development. BZSmod was released with its development files in November 2022, and we support anyone who wants to fork the mod or bring fixes to BZSmod. I blog a bit on moddb when it is related to the mod or personal experience which I find useful for the game community. To read more about my study experience and other projects, see www.ringhauge.dk

Report RSS Lugaru have become opensource, a new project

Posted by on

I
Bought Lugaru HD (Wolfire.com) though the Humble bundel and today i saw Lugaru have become OpenSource.

I have completed the campaign and i think it was awesome game though the rather simplified map details. (though much better at handling terrain then hammer tool i see )
So it could be really nice to play against other human players, over the net of course.
Like overgrowth will have multiplayer, i will try to add multiplayer to this game.

This will be my personal project, it might not work, or even prevail. However i can learn much from it, as i also got a VB game which i will continue developing after my exams and add multiplayer support for it.
I also believe it can help me code for half-life.

If there are people who wants to help on the project, then can we talk about it. I might be needing the help, but i don't seek persons who can overtake the project singlehanded, as i think this will be an important learning curve for me as well.

And just for the BZS - A lot of things are going down.
I got the code back from the 27 January, and awaiting the current code.(which will take some time)
We might be remanaging the team, and of personal reasons, i don't wish to explain why. When we got the code, we will add a job ad for coders on moddb.
Hopefully some will join, as we are many people in the mod who won't let it down because of a few lose ends.
