While stuck in the exams
Well, i totally wanted to work with the lugaru, but it is complicated, im going to study some c++ my self tihs summer, so im prepared for university.
As well did the animations and coding job ad also get delayed; well they are finally up, and im hungering for applications, so far there haven't been any animators, and it is something we will have to get done somehow.
So, now i got 2 exams left, the stupid ones are over and i got a little more air this time. Actually, i can't wait to get the F*** away from highschool and into computer science, I got tired of those subjects i'm never gonna need for any reason, but i neither expect it will be without annoying subjects in computer science.
Maybe it's just that my year grades are good enough to fail every subject and still pass, or else it's because i simply just want to move on.
Why not take a year off?
Well, im 19 and i only get older, i want to take a master degree in computer science and then i want to earn some money.
Also the need for money is huge for traveling, and i don't got that amount of money. I could take a job (if anyone wants me), but those jobs who usually don't need a special education, recently (1-2 years) started to focus on their own educations instead of workspaces. As i see it now, getting on is much better as i will be able to work sooner and then can i travel a bit.
Even better is that i have been requested to join a company from 2 groups when i get a bachelor or my master; well it is great to hear, though I have replied that they will have to wait for reply on that request until i at least have my bachelor.
Evolving portfolio
I and serveral others gets the idea of working with a mod, to improve the portfolio, to show experience with international teamwork (an experience which comes with difficulties).
My portfolio is evolving, unfortunately it haven't been in c++ or much on the mod recently.
Managing a team, when everyone have exam and you have to respect their private life, well that is one thing.
Another thing which actually pissed me off, that is to write to people who refuses to reply.
Sometimes this also happens for new applications, saying hello and so on, gets in and 2 days after, they are gone, it is a waste of time and i don't get how people even intent to join a mod which they then consider to leave 2 days after... if they then at least would leave a resignation.
According to my portfolio, i intent to add my programs form VB programming with source on my own site (which will go live some time by summer or fall), both so it can show from my portfolio, but also so people can work with my ideas.
I also hope to could add a lot of c++ this summer. I have been working on and off by c++, because i didn't work with it intense, i kinda have to read 30 chapters... again (haha), but it just is complicated when you have to work with bigger projects and you are without experience. The more experience i can get before university, the less technical deepshit i will be in. In other words, i can actually start on my education right away.
Peaceful afternoon
After the latest exams, i finally got the last job ad written and meanwhile Eyenine is working on some music to use for ambience sound. I believe it will be a great summer for the mod, though it also depends on the available positions. Mod development is "three years on the rock", hopefully it will be something this time.
