Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Game review

This is the game of my life, basically. The game I'll never get tired of playing because it feels like home in a weird way. I reckon it has a few flaws but then again, no game ever made was entirely perfect. Skyrim, compared to the games before it, is a very dense videogame, lore and gameplay-wise. It could have been better explored but then it would please only those who have played the games before and no "newbies" to the gender. Sometimes it feels impersonal, but it's up to you (and sometimes the modding community) to fill the gaps in the story, provoking your RPG instincts.
For me it's a very fun game, probably my favourite of all time.

Mount & Blade: Warband

Game review

Personally this is one of the most entertaining games I've ever played. It's a bit complicated sometimes, but that's what makes it so addictive. When I got it I could not stop playing it and had to explore all possibilities that were there, and when I got over with it I noticed there was a whole world of well-made mods I could not simply ignore. Nowadays I don't play it that much, but it's seriously one of my favourite games in my library.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Game review

This is one of my favourite horror games! I was never the kind of person who loved horror, actually I get startled pretty easily, but Amnesia taught me to love the genre. Back then the idea of not being able to fight off the monsters was something completely new (at least for me, who was used to games such as Silent Hill and Resident Evil) and I was really curious about how it was going to be. I called friends over and we played Amnesia a whole night and it was one of my best gaming experiences! Puzzles were not impossible to solve, though sometimes they were quite challenging, jumpscares were on point and the general design of the game is very pleasing to the eyes.
