VtM: The Final Nights

Mod review

I found this difficult to review because in my opinion it added so little that I'm not entirely sure what I downloaded, save a few reskins.

Here's the thing: I had just finished playing VTMB and immediately played this after, so I have a good idea of what the original was. This hardly changes a thing. The clans don't get unique dialogue, their alternate armor is visually glitched, their new powers feel like slight variations of existing ones (some have crashed my game upon use), the combat difficulty is sort of ridiculous now (even full melee and best melee weapons I don't do much damage - lots of 0s), and it actually removes functionality from some bloodbags in game.

I have met Akeem, but I know there must be other NPCs I haven't met yet. Doesn't seem possible that his is the only one.

It adds some slightly different functionality than base-game, but this ended up screwing up for me. I've somehow got into a god-mode state, and periodically I'll take a hit that will kill me instantly, or walk around and lose health (even with enough blood). It's not unplayable.

For the person who plays VTMB for the RP, this mod doesn't really do anything for that. In fact, it sort of detracts, since no characters or plotpoints ever acknowledge your clan (very immersion breaking for some of these clans, too).
