The mod has been CONTINUALLY licensed since 2004. You are only downloading updates. We the team representing the authors uphold our rights to protect the collective work in this mod.
Meantime if you breach our license you will be subjected to a DMCA. Why would you spend time attacking the mod, when it makes free content for you to enjoy? What kind of person does that make you? Have a think about it before replying, perhaps.

you ONLY need apex for the following maps to have any foliage:
- da krong
- doung
- song cu
- khe sanh
we are not making apex a requirement (yet) for example we don't use the apex RPG-7 despite it having an awesome model and reload animation, for this very reason. you can play on the other 7 maps without apex.
F4E and J are in delta release. We don't have a crusader (yet)

there are Bru tribesmen Ning chinese, and cambodian mercenaries in the CIDG and SF teams. I added them in arma 2 and they remain in arma 3.
that bunker is created using an eventhandler. it is not a bug. it is a feature. however the fancy new editor doesn't like it

max gamestate chars exceeded is an error caused by too much going on in the server. It is made worse by modding the game, but happens in normal coduo on for example mp_foy running CTF gametype. The gamestate string is exceeded when a player attempts to hoin the server and it crashes. rotating the map remotely usually fixes it.
Tips to avoid it:
1. reduce your map load in the /uo folder to the minimum maps you want to play on the server. Ideally start with mp_carentan on sd and mp_dawnville on hq and add a few more gradually until you get problems.
2. keep the map rotation under about 20-30 maps
3. ONE single map can cause max gamestate, if it has a lot going on in it, like moving trains, bombers, mortars, vehicles, etc, so remove any really big busy custom maps (like mp_aquitaine), EVEN if it is only in your servers UO folder, and not even activated in the rotation.
4. turn off vehicles and flaks
5. the gametpye affects the gamestate string length a lot. This MOD always maxes on CTF. You have to use other gametpyes. Try TDM, HQ, RE and SD first. BAS, DOM and CTF will cause problems.
6. other mods will not run well with the mod, as it changes almost all functions.
7. use my default config to set up your server and reduce the amount of TNT/ molotovs/ mines etc to the minimum until the server is stable.

thanks for the feedback. a few tips:
CTF won't work with this mod - id do say that in the summary above and the readme. we host it on hq, sd, re, htf etc. and i have converted many maps to work with the mod on these gametypes by removing ctf and dom from their bsp files.
the BAR is substantially different - press M on it to change mode and you get the deployed version (3 modes - press M twice at spawn)
the FG42 has 4 fire modes: 2 iron sight and 2 deployed. Again press M for each version.
the MG42 doesn't work perfectly on occasional map locations where the anti-glitch script stops you mounting it if it thinks you are lower than the floor. usually this isn't noticeable, but occasionally it gets it wrong. try placing it on a wall, window, car, sandbags and its fine. place it on the crest of a rise or in a house on flat brushes and its also fine... just try it out.
I gave the shottie and ammo crate to the antitank class as no-one ever wanted to play this class.
all this is explained in the readme - open the core pk3 and look in the readme folder.
