I'm a game developer doing a little this and that, not very fast since I do everything all by myself and I'm just having so much fun developing it. I also kinda feel reluctant to release it because of that.

Calling all Indie-devs, I can't stress this enough! Time and time again I've seen games and alphas released for Linux and bugs being due to Linux being Case-sensitive.
SO if you want to release a game for Linux in the long run, make sure you are all on the same page. Keep uppercases and lowercases the same. If you have a list of models in a script or similar, make sure the graphical artists know what naming convention they should use, file-ending as well!
example: /DATA/MODELS/SlowDog.blend in a path-script should be /DATA/MODELS/SlowDog.blend in the file manager as well!
I repeat, Linux is Case-Sensitive!

I stand for what it says below (or does it go above?), but I do make exceptions for the formula of Old-School gaming, Serious Sam is one of those games ;) Get it, Mod in Duke Nukem, Some Las Vegas decorations and you've got a better game than that Carwreck Duke Nukem Forever, Trust me ;)
