If you are a fan of both roguelikes and survival games, Unreal World is a must play. It manages to grasp the details of living in the wilderness, while it keeps the fun on top. You can fish, make your own tools, trade with other tribes, do your own tent of even build yourself a nice cottage.

The hunting is awesome. You can track animals and endure a harsh hunting trip to follow an elk that can determine if you will survive or perish in the winter. One must also watch the weather and the temperature, as they can make your life easier or harder.

The controls are hard in the beginning, if you're not used to roguelike games. But as you progress through the game, it becomes an extension of you. The game uses pixel graphics, nevertheless, they are colorful and well made.

In sum, UnReal World will change your concept of what a survival game is.
