It should, I have not tried it however. I have plans to update it, but never get to it due real time restrictions.

Custom battles are not a good way to judge balancing, since they do not have many scripts that regular battles have.

Hence, the archers that you get when you use infantry.

You're probably are downloading it from desura. Download from moddb.

The mod aims to be as historically accurate as possible. As such all the equipment in the mod are the one used in the 13-th. century.

The mod is for 1,158, it does not support previous versions of warband. I have no idea what kind of error do you receive, but it's not likely to be related to the version of the game.

Sorry - do not have the funds to do so. Download via moddb.

Desura uses a very old version. Last time I've tried to upgrade it there, it asked me for money...

Desura cost money. Won't happen.

Sadly the save games are not compatible between different versions. You will need to start a new game. :(

There's little regional manors around the map. You can build things in those. Be sure that you have the patch installed tho!

Yep. As the famous feudal quote: "A vassal of my vassal is not my vassal". So you can only recruit from the lands you won. And in essence - you recruit your vassals(nobles - knights), that recruit there vassals(commoners - peasants, townsman) and you get a lance of 10 able men.

Sadly the game engine has some problems with memory management, which leads to crashing on certain machines (mostly to ones with 32bit OS). This is especially problematic with big mods, such as ours(which is double the size of native!). And as modders we can do little to help as we have no access to the source.

A possible way to avoid crashes is to follow these instructions:

Lance system works. You can only recruit lances from your centers(towns, castles, villages). As in you would recruit your knights, who brings his peasants to war - a simplified version of medieval feudalism.

If you are not a lord you must rely on mercenaries(which are very cheap when you are not a lord, as you recruit comrade mercenaries. While a lord, you hire them for your own greedy purposes).

You have to have at least 120 renown to become a knight. Otherwise you will be a sergeant.

Thanks for the bug reports! We are preparing a patch, which should be ready sometimes this or next week. Probably.

The boat on water is not a bug. To save resources, it's turned off by default. You should turn on the feature in the camp menu, via mod options.

I'll check out the tournaments tho.

Sadly, as modders, it's little we can do to help, as it's mostly engine related problems. And we can not modify or have access to the engine source.
