Few mods in the history of modding have hit quite the stratospheric levels of quality that STA3 and its team have managed to produce. I bought Sins specifically for this mod. Had I known nothing of Sins and someone had dropped this mod into my lap and said "Hey, it's the official Star Trek Armada 3!" I'd have believed it. A few very minor wrinkles aside ("Diplomacy Is Irrelevent" typo for one), this is just about AAA quality.
