start with an already loaded grenadelauncher-rifle, sprint and shoot near the chimera -> dead. + if you have a suit with just a bit of rupture protection you are almost immune to normal dogs (you have to find the pseudo dogs and kill them).

someone suggested this in the forum already.
if you have ctds and corrupted saves (had that lots prepatch) wipe everything stalker related.
clean install (+ all patches, install as admin) dont use F5 make real saves! quicksaves kill the game. Also ignore using some weapons like the Revolver. Every time im equipping this thing ill have an ctd in the next 5 min.

Tipps from a guy who had 7 hours of just playing stalker and not running into ctds and corrupted saves.

so far every item is working fine for me (including that item)

on some weapons (if i want to repair them by cardan and dont have enough money) my game crashes sometimes.
