I tried to run it on a 64bit system and I need to install 32bit compability libraries and even then it's so slow it's unplayable. Am I doing something wrong or is there no real 64bit port?

They just announced a free dlc, I wonder if this will get on desura and then hopefully we get rotdg too....

Well the patch is out, but all you hear on the forums, regarding the dlc is: "soon". Community.gaslampgames.com

Bugs I've found so far:
- Sometimes the "ghosts" who spawn the little electro ghosts when killed, don't spawn them or spawn only one.
- When reading a book the last sentence in a paragraph doesn't have a line break and thus is too long to fit on the screen

Suggestion:
- Save the config in an invisible directory in the users /home dir. I hate to have a messy /home ;)

Wow, thanks for the quick reply. It's always nice to see gamedevs respond personally and care about the people who play their game. You're now on my list of great game-studios ;)

Any eta on the 64bit version? Sorry for my impatience, but this game looks just great :)

Patch has been send to desura, now we just have to wait for validation and pray that ROTG will be released at the exact same moment :/ And yeah it's pretty much a month since they put out the first beta and said it'll be a week...

I'll buy this as soon as there's a 64bit build :)

Did you try loading other/new savegames, maybe your savegame is corrupted. Anyway. the new patch should come out next week or so. If your issue still isn't fixed, then report it in the forums, they can't fix bugs the don't know of.

You're not. I'm successfully running the 32bit install on Arch64 w/o any 32bit-compability libs installed. You just have to start Dredmor-amd64 manually as desura will complain otherwise.

The Linux 64Bit version, downloads the windows files. Damn I really want to play.

Look on their websit (in the comments section of the last blog-post), they'll release a hotfix for OS X and Linux on 28th.
