I'm not sure if losing your HEV suit was part of the plan, or just an unintended consquence, but for people too lazy to look it up for themselves:

Beside that obvious pitfall, after awhile it became a little too obvious that the enemies were just randomly spawning whenever you hit a trigger, sort of ruining the feel half life 2 gave with enemy encounters (they didn't just appear from thin air, they were actually there for a reason). Rather than having manhacks and headcrabs in small number to scare the crap out of you or accent combine troops, they show up in large numbers at certain points, which actually just makes them annoying (although the part where the headcrabs all fall from the ceiling was pretty cool).. Other than that, this mod was pretty fun, even though baby sitting the jeep for half of it knocked some more points off.
