I tried to set-up a moving character dummy a couple of months ago.

Yet, my pathfinding algorithm was quite bad (waypoint-based), so I was far from having actual bots (i.e. moving properly, shooting, etc) into the game.
I do not lose the faith to make that happen one day, though, but it's a big work :)

GMT+1 = UTC+1 = Paris/Berlin time (or UK time + 1) :)

I guess Desert is sort of the Afghan map.
The new SDM/CTI maps are:

* Desert
* Outpost
* Quarry
* Snowfield
* Terminal

Anyway, try to type the following console commands before you attempt to join any server:

con_restricted 0
cl_precache_load 0

Then try to connect onto a server and let me know if it works any better.

Yes, TrollZone is correct. You do not need to pay for getting Casus Belli. You may want to buy Crysis Wars, but the CW Trial is just fine normally. If you want to buy CW, the Steam version just works fine (it's the one I use to play CB).

If you have a 32 bits OS, you may not have enough RAM to run CB properly. There's a "fix" provided on our forum. That fix was taken from the 32 bits OS fix provided by the Skyrim community.

If your OS is 64 bits, then ask for help on our forum.
I have a laptop with GTX560M and 6Gb RAM, the game just runs fine @1280x720 on High.

On our forum, some people had their Crysis Wars and Casus Belli crashing on 32 bits mode, whereas the 64 bits version could run properly. Apparently this is caused by a specific AMD processor.
