Yes, the crash that occured right after joining the game was fixed.
I tried to set-up a moving character dummy a couple of months ago.
Yet, my pathfinding algorithm was quite bad (waypoint-based), so I was far from having actual bots (i.e. moving properly, shooting, etc) into the game.
I do not lose the faith to make that happen one day, though, but it's a big work :)
GMT+1 = UTC+1 = Paris/Berlin time (or UK time + 1) :)
I guess Desert is sort of the Afghan map.
The new SDM/CTI maps are:
He's an only guy :)
No problem :) You may find people online during evenings/nights (UK/french time)
That's true the mod doesn't have much visiblity. By the way, we have players playing on a server currently ;)
That's too bad, we had 26 people playing online this afternoon.
Hi. You need at least 4GB RAM to run Casus Belli. Sorry ;)
Hey. I sent you a PM on our forum (assuming that your nickname is pureevil on there).
Hello. Do you have a 32 bits Windows? And how much RAM memory do you have?
Anyway, try to type the following console commands before you attempt to join any server:
Then try to connect onto a server and let me know if it works any better.
Thank you :)
Hello again ;) What are your complete system specs? Regards.
Hello. I Usually run the 64 bits version as well, so I'm confident it has nothing to do with your problem. Could you send me a PM on our forum boards so that we could arrange a live "help" session. Regards
Hello. This is weird indeed. If you want, you may create a topic on our forum so that we can see if anyone else is having the same problem. Regards.
Unfortunately Crysis Wars does not support bots in MP :s
Our community is not big enough. Yet we usually have people playing near 9-10pm GMT+1. Cheers
Normally our server has no download speed cap ;)
Yes, TrollZone is correct. You do not need to pay for getting Casus Belli. You may want to buy Crysis Wars, but the CW Trial is just fine normally. If you want to buy CW, the Steam version just works fine (it's the one I use to play CB).
If you have a 32 bits OS, you may not have enough RAM to run CB properly. There's a "fix" provided on our forum. That fix was taken from the 32 bits OS fix provided by the Skyrim community.
If your OS is 64 bits, then ask for help on our forum.
I have a laptop with GTX560M and 6Gb RAM, the game just runs fine @1280x720 on High.
Thanks ;) For the bots answer, see my answer to Pythus. Cheers
Hello. AI does not work in Crysis Multiplayer. We may get in touch with the Crysis Coop mod team someday. We can make no promise, though.
Thanks. The version 1.2 beta should start in the very next days, that should bring a boost ;)
What are your system specs? Feel free to ask for help on our forum, you have more chances to get help out there ;)
You made a CE3 standalone?
You're right ;)
Open up the console and type:
Not yet, but who knows :p
On our forum, some people had their Crysis Wars and Casus Belli crashing on 32 bits mode, whereas the 64 bits version could run properly. Apparently this is caused by a specific AMD processor.
We found a fix that you may read at: Casusbelli-mod.com
Does Wars crash for you? Did you install the patch 1.5 for Crysis (Warhead/)Wars?
Beta tests are held every Sunday at 8.30pm (GMT+1).
For a couple of months, we managed to be ~20-24 players, so you'd better play on that day. Last week that was really cool.
Very cool mod, I'll give it a shot. I guess it works on the Doom / Doom 2 OpenGL ports, alright?
We cannot use much physics in multiplayer. Physics cause huge lags and performance drops. That's too sad but true :s
