I understand that - but which .ini file can I alter to let me start out at level 1 with, like, only $5,000?

OK,I see where to change the starting money - Data/Characters/New Character.ini. But how about the level?

Is there a way to start the game at Level 1 rather than 18 with the vanilla game dollar amount(I forgot how much that was) - and still play open single player? I always liked the sense of accomplishment in earning cash various ways. Right now 15 minutes into the game I found a trade route that has earned me $600,000 in no time.

Is it ok if I installed patch 1.7a as step 9a of the installation guide rather than step 8a? I didn't do the launcher updates till after I had the patch, though.

Great mod! One question - how do I get back to the options like Trent and Juni's clothing, HUD colors, cursor style that I chose when I first activated the mod w/FLMM? Thanks
