This game could be great with a little more track variety and polish. The gamepad support is good, but the controls are kind of awkward. Gamepad standard should be to use right trigger or A to accelerate, not push left stuck forward.

Brilliant battle racing game. I haven't played a good one in a long time, and for once this lives up to my expectations. It even has interesting cars like knock-offs of a Reliant Robin and a Soviet car the name of which I can't recall. Cars handle well, no steering lag, and the graphics look nice, though I'm struggling to get a nice framerate even after setting everything to minimum.
This game has controller support, with excellent presets for the 360 controller. The music fits well and compliments the experience, especially in the garage. The options for voice-over audio are a very nice touch.
If you like battle racing and you've been disappointed in the genre lately, Gas Guzzlers is what you've been missing.
