Hey guys,

How can I edit the stats for the Centaur-class? The only file I found in gameinfo was the F_FLak_Centaur.entity. But, when I edit the stat values it's not reflected in-game. If I make changes to any other file, i.e. F_Galaxy, the new values are shown in-game.

Also, one of the pirate ships (looks like Talarian ship) has an aoe weapon. It destroys all my frigates and cripples my battleships. Which ship file is that and what weapon do I look for to lower its dmg value?

I'm very happy that the game may be far enough along for actual game play. What kind of build would it be? Pre-Alpha, Alpha? Can we expect to see it released in a reasonable amount of time? A lot of folks have been waiting nearly a decade for this. Although the devs works on it in their free time, they should be realistic and give us a time frame.

I hope that the AI of Excalibur will not have the redundancy of the AI from Bridge Commander (fly to target, evade incoming torpedoes, fly to target). The AI from BC made playing get old and boring very quickly. Even Starfleet Academy seemed to have a smarter AI. Klingon Birds of Prey would try to get behind you, and would cloak if under fire. This made fighting these ships quite a challenge. Will we see a similar development for Excalibur?

We've also seen several screenshots and videos of ships, space, asteroids, and other various objects. I am curious to know how the progress of the HUD is going. Will the HUD be like that of Bridge Commander with TNG style buttons, or will their be something a bit different? Will we be able to see some HUD screenshots soon?
