Oh good day, My name's Benoit "D.G.F." Hanikenne, I am a graduated graphic design engineer and an intermediate video games 2D/3D artist. The main platform I work with is Half-Life (Goldsource engine). My main speciality was model porting and customisation, until I began creating my very own models, step by step. I'm also specialized in World War II Germany's uniforms and materials, as you will be able to figure out by yourself by checking the few screenshots I have posted on this profile. I mostly create props, static items and I'm able to create simple and more complicated textures from nothing. Organic modelling is my one weakness, but I can most easly port something to any skeletons and make the product very professional looking. I am currently working on a Single player modification for HL1 called "Abyss 048", you can find this mod on it's moddb page. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or if you need my help with any projects.

Hello CallumSharp279.

Trempler's not a native english speaker. He's doing big efforts to avoid as much mistakes in his writing as he can.

I'm sure everyone's thanking you for your involvement in his path to a better knowledge of english language.
But your comment being unrelated to the topic of this post, I'll request you to private message him the next time.

For your information this case is yellow, not golden. You may be aware the story of this mod is happening underwater, yes ? Deep underwater. You don't want to bring dark colored cases with you where everything is dark.

Plus those are supposed to contain interesting items (weapons, ammunition etc.) so a bright color is the the most indicated choice.

Ah, we're not yet ready for the top100. I don't want our project to be viewed by everyone as we don't have enough content to show them and satisfiate their curiosity.

I'm sure our time will come later on, maybe next year ? Who knows. We're having a great time working on this project, and this is what matters to me, and to the other members, I'm sure.

Haha thanks for the advice James, but the seam effect is caused by the smoothing groups I created ! Milkshape is like that haha. The texture itself is seamless.

The normal mapping has been made for a test (it is possible to have normal mapping on models in HL1) but I highly doubt it'll be used in the final product as we don't even use it for the maps.
