Your former opinion rings with some truth (although balance will shift throughout development), but your latter opinion is merely your preference.

Currently, there are a few edited areas. The secret level is entirely new in Immersion.

This was playtested to work on 1.13c. You need to have a legit copy of D2:LoD.

You're welcome, and I stand corrected. I once heard another designer refer to it (incorrectly) as "Greek text" and it stuck in my head. Grr. I'll be changing that. =)

A better question would be... what doesn't it do?

Immersion improves and expands all aspects of gameplay. Items, skills, enemies, areas, economy, etc. The complete list of changes is within the documentation provided with the mod. When I have the chance, I'll format a list to put in my news post.
