Immersion v1.05 has released in public beta, and can be downloaded from the mod's Official Forum, after registration.

Immersion is Diablo II: Lord of Destruction Improved and Expanded.

Immersion now installs and uninstalls easily, plays with or without the CD, and should be compatible with all patch versions of Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. This beta version of the mod includes two playable classes, the Sorceress and Barbarian, and offers a vastly different gameplay experience compared to the original. Here are some of Immersion's Features.

One of the best 1.10 mod I´ve played in a long time! Unfortunately the installation is a bit complicated for noobs since there is no latest version´s plug-in for D2SE mod manager... I tried the usual installation and it ruins the D2 a bit, I had to remove PlugY v10 from the D2 folder in order to run it for example.
Also, it looks dead since the last update and unfortunately it contains only 3 classes to play with but the experience because of its features is epic!

I'm not sure. It depends on the amount (and quality) of feedback, as well as the design and development of other aspects of the mod.

This was playtested to work on 1.13c. You need to have a legit copy of D2:LoD.

Ah,it's D2 with no limit but with difficulty that could make Arnold cry. Will there be new areas to visit in this MOD? Playing enhanced vanilla D2 will get boring REAL quick. >.<

Your former opinion rings with some truth (although balance will shift throughout development), but your latter opinion is merely your preference.

Currently, there are a few edited areas. The secret level is entirely new in Immersion.
