Well, I used to pirate, until I played portal 1. I was reading about it, and found it was actually an indie developer who won a competition to have valve help produce it and get it on the orange box. Considering that it was one of my favourite games ever, I turned about and now use steam for everything. Works just as well, has demos and is way cheaper than actually buying. It works for me.

On that, I'd have to agree. For an entirely multiplayer game, balanced classes are the one thing you MUST get right (have a look at team fortress 2 to see what I mean). If you can't give us the others without upsetting the rest, then don't. I'd rather play a smaller, balanced game than a larger, unfair game where one class is ridiculously overpowered. That being said, I'm primarily a sniper on touch fps's, so please try to add it in an update some time after the game's released... : )
