Mod is still in dev but we've hit a massive road block. All attention has been put on this issue but when it gets resolved, we'll have an update posted (post haste!).

Thanks! Pretty much on point there Detruncate! PHL Airport is complete with all the structures, prop placement, markers, pathways & navmesh (just needs actors and quest stuff) while the naval yard just has a few placeholders present but beyond that there really isn't much there yet. On the map, if you look closely at where the PHL Airport would be at, go east a bit into the green and you'll see a tiny yellow square. That square is Fort Mifflin. FYI, ATM I've been currently working in two areas simultaneously: The yellow area in Jersey where on the map there's a 6 on the bottom, this is both the Liberty's Edge and a toxic swamp called Miasmic Mire...the other area is to the east of Fairmount Part around Strawberry Mansion. That whole area is rife with viney-veggie overgrowth and trees, fun stuff!

The blue shaded area specifies that all level design work, optimization, navmesh, map markers, clutter placement and most actor placement have been completed. This area is now ready for quest work and encounter zones.
Green indicates a workload of 90% completed with the remaining 10% workload.
Yellow is the area that is currently being worked on, followed by orange, then finally red.
The white area is the biggest crater in the Wastes that will have its own worldspace.

From one 40 something year old project manager to another, I have had these same concerns in the back of my mind and similar approaches to those concerns. Hey Astraxis! What can be seen both in the foreground and in the background/LOD makes up for about 1/4 of what's on the map. The whole map itself has been mapped out with placeholders and roughly 75% of the worldspace has 2 passes (out of 3) of design work completed. The third design pass will be the remainder of the clutter added, final touches and navmesh. This should be the last year of work for the Liberty Wastes.

Pretty sure our mod is coming out last. My initial thought 2 years ago was this could be done by Nov 2020 but with lots of new workload that needs to be finished before we even think about a definite release date. LH's worldspace alone is ginormous, dwarfing the Commonwealth and I'm the only person who's chipping away at that (I'm not complaining, I actually love doing this). We just got 4 new 3d modelers in the past couple of months and there's a lot of new content being made. I personally am not in a rush to finish; Instead the main focus is fun, detail and quality content. 12 or 16 hours some days working on this for over 2 years now and I don't have any intention of stopping.

We didn't get any of the disbanded Road to Liberty people, they went to different ventures. I wish them the best. Shame tho, I really wanted to play RTL. Who knows, maybe a hiatus will be good for their project.

We've sent direct messages to some of the mod authors asking permission to incorporate their mod into LH with a great amount of success. However, we're still testing out the waters of asking modders directly on filling positions. We are very careful on who we ask, checking their background, even their responses to other people. The last thing we need is a power struggle, Maybe that's a bit over the top to have a concern about but I've seen projects fall due to big egos. We tend to pick up folks relatively new to the dev world and help train them. It has actually worked very well so far.

We will be posting a slew of new jobs soon on ModDB. Maybe you can help us get the word out to the people who may fill those positions. I'll take your proposal in deep consideration Thanks!!

Hello Wontell! If "Mature", you mean a well-thought-out story, sensical timeline, engaging quests, immersive worldspace, proper ambience building, keeping it lore friendly yet being its own identity and not overly weighing it down with tropes, references and memes...if that is what you mean, then yes; It is properly mature. We're treating this like it's an extension of the Fallout Universe and not just another mod. Very dialogue heavy if that's your speed. There are scads of quests with conflicts can be resolved without blown away someone. A lot of the older Fallouts (FO1, 2, 3 & NV) have been overwhelmingly influential in conjunction to making this TC mod. Lastly, when making the content and concepts, we constantly ask ourselves "will this be fun?" If it's not fun, it's not done.

YEP! "Liberty Hell will have 4 new playable characters to choose from, each with their own origin, playthrough, dialogue and game start located somewhere in the Liberty Wastes. It's hard to tell at this point of the development what ship or ships will be docked at either the ports or the Navy Yard. I know at least one ship was planned to be docked, a mock version of the Moshulu with a different name. I would definitely like to see more historical ships added but these ships would require extensive custom mesh work. Time will tell if this becomes a reality.

Thanks Woozle, glad you dig what you see so far! There's a little secret about this video that the areas shown make up less than a 1/10th of what's in Liberty Hell. What was captured was random areas that caught the eye of the video editor as he was exploring the Wastes (who I may add did a spectacular job on the video). In about a day, we should have an article posted along with new pics on our ModDB page. Thanks again and cya!
