Ahhh I tried this with only 4-6 figates out of 50 ships and now im faring much better! Thank you! I think Im still used to Sacrifice of Angels for Sins Trinity where capital ships were few in number and cost alot of supply more so I built alot of frigates and such!

Hmm I tried a 1v1 against klingon and did ok at first expanded to about 12 worlds. Then since it was 1v1 i used the rank counter to help me show what i needed to work on. I mixed Exacibur/Galaxy/Typhon/Nebula/Intrepid/Akira and some sabers and Norway made up the rest. I managed to take down their main fleet but it seems they then were able to build another one out of pure air as I controlled over half the systems and the only path into my space. I was on easy too :/ Is there a way to make the ai easier for a few matches so I can mess around some and practice instead of getting rolled over? I just hate having to put in a 1-2 hours each match only to be crush as soon as I encounter an ai faction

Would anyone be able to link me to a strategy guide perhaps? its only with this Call to arms update I have had these problems. With 1.0 I did fine with little to no worries and could even fight the borg to a stalemate if needed.

I always do it just seems that the enemy always knows precisly when my fleet is literally on the other side of my systems fighting a different enemy who isnt allied to them. it seems odd Im used to Sacrifice of Angels so building so many capital ships seems hard to get used too. I try last game I had 10 capital ships and a dreadnaught. So I figured I was ok and tried to move into nearby rebel systems with 5 of them and half a dozen small vessels then they entire god damned enemy fleet on the opposite side of all my systems rofl stomped through 3 fully defended systems where the entire rest of my fleet was. I dont understand what I am doing wrong. I was doing quite well until the ais perfect timing got me.

I will try this. It jus seems odd that an enemy fleet was able to ear up 14 miranda class a dreadnaught and three galaxy class in two passes. I will look at the difficulties and try again!

Im having a hell of a time now. Playing 1.0 I had no trouble but now half an hour into every game I play no matter the faction I get rofl stomped from all sides by enemy fleets that are composed of 6-7 capital ships each plus cruisers and frigates. I typically only have that many capital ships ah hour-2 into a match its really killing the fun for me im playing on normal difficulty.

Damn that sucks I could probably pull through if I had another route to escape from! The Borg arent allied to eachother thank christ!

Hey playing as the Klingons Im haveing an issue where I started expanding and found only one route with no wormholes which was still fun and actually nice! But Then I dicovered that not one but two Borg Factions were fighting over the only system that left! So I became stuck in a small area of 4 sytems one of which was uninhabitable. I Still decided to fight on and try and break through being Klingons but Im stuck. Only thing I can do it try and contest the system but the Borg often each had 6-7 Assimilator and Tactical Cubes there. Plus dozens of Spheres and smaller ships.

Any advice on how to break the blockade?
