Ha, that mod seems to make it very straightforward to kill yourself. You can't point your gun at yourself and pull the trigger in Shootmephrenia. Because in most FPS the gun just rotates with the body. :)

Yea, it is already more likely to happen the more far you make it but it is mostly random. You can easily make lots of rides with thunder never happening. Also, it is not as hard as the video might make it look. Before a thunder bolt, that could hit you, impacts it is shown with a lightray so you can dodge it.
To clarify this, the Xmas mode can be played whenever you want. I just take down the Xmas mode standalone download after the 2nd. The Xmas mode will be also in the full version for forever but it is not yet.
They are in there in the 1.18 and the Xmas Standalone. Thundersnow is usually a very rare thing but in the Xmas mode it can happen much more likely. While "normal thunder" can happen more likely on the graveyard and with rain. In the story it is also in the 2nd graveyard level and the first level of the last chapter.

Yea, in the Starve or Blow up endless you can not win. Well, you can just blow up or starve! Or die in all the other ways that you might have already encountered before. The surprise surprise mode, well is a surprise but is also endless. You can still go for completing all the quests and unlocking all the mutators, characters and power ups with upgrades though.
That is also why the correct term is: Head Enhancement Gear. They are just referred to as hats to keep it short and consistent to other usage of the term "hats" in games. The term "hats" has already a broad meaning in PC gaming. You should play a certain game called Team Fortress 2 and see what goes all under hats.

That with the music in the cutscenes should just fit to the looping partial animation of the 3d "pictures" and the music should support kinda over the top what is currently happening in a picture/scene. Well, I guess I should make the music not restart on a "picture" when it is the same music bit, will see what could be done to make it less jarring. You could also turn off the music in the options though.
It seems you don't know that when you keep the lance down, after you jousted a enemy, there is a bit of slomo. There is also a extra slomo effect when having joust a Bucket with much force (Smashing). The more you hit in the center and the more early you get your lance down the better the enemies will fly.
You get bonus points, for Beheading, Smashing and Homerun. Beheading + Smashing is = Smashtastic
There is no penalty at all for scratching obstacles, it keeps being arcadeish but since it is fun to scratch obstacles on purpose there is a scratches insurance that you can unlock, then you will get gold for scratches and can even make combos. Insurance takes 30 percent of your other gold though.
I tweaked the Spider, it is now much more clear when it will face hug you. It only hides behind his arms when you will hit it now. It also turns to you now when it tries to grab your face. Double KO with the bucketheads on the other side is normal though, when you both not hit with your lances, horses/rider still can smash into each other, you have to aim better there!
The Second Sight takes time to get used to for timing jumps but other then that it is always beneficial as long as there are obstacles since you can also strafe faster while slomo is active. The Rainbow bridges can appear over gaps and small obstacles. You can simply have only 1 Power up at a time, having to manage a stock while riding would be hard with the non-stop action. You can skip the auto activated power up when picking up a 2nd by just activating the next though while it is also a strategy to use your power ups early so you always have that empty slot. If you have not upgraded the power ups yet they last pretty short so you need upgrades to make them more effective.

Something got messed up with the collisions initialization when you start in a forest, cave or on the graveyard in the story mode. Since it is weekend I will not be able to update the build here on Desura. At the earliest on Monday. I just tried some levels in the story mode but did not encountered that bug. Had you already tried reinstalling it?
That with the "play tutorial" button is definitely a bug but you can use the menu button on the lower right there for now.
I'm glad that you could fix it! I doubt I can change anything on that install package that UDK puts into it but maybe there is some better solution for it. Will look into it for future versions.
That is really very strange. When something tries to auto restart and you have programs open Windows usually asks to close them first and there you should be able to cancel the restart. Maybe you can trick it with quickly open a program first?
It could be that the framework is a part of the Unreal Engine package that gets installed after the actual game got installed. That is a standard package of the UDK that also installs stuff like directx, maybe .net framework is a part there as well. I could be that I just never saw it because it only install framework when there is none or a older version installed. Net.framework seems to be a very common thing to be already installed.
That is really nasty. Are you sure you have to dismiss the message when Windows has booted up? If it is just a window you should be able to ignore it and then uninstall the framework stuff without it forcing the restart.
What hardware are you on? The Unreal Engine unfortunately also takes really long to load on a Mac, so it could be just that.

What is the Groupees Setup you are talking about? You should have get just a Desura key. The installer does also not attempt to install framework 4 at the end, atleast not the one that I send to Desura. In any way there should never be a reason to restart or even automaticaly restart.
My guess is, if it is really .net framework that is forcing the restart, to just deinstall all framework that you have and then reinstall it or just install a new framework version from a different source over it. You could also try to repair framework. Right click and then repair on the different ones in your system programs list.
Anything that takes control away is bad in my books, it needs to stay arcadeish.
Light might be faster then sound but that doesn't mean sound is slow. When lightning happens it always also lits everything around the Knight so the lightning must be very close so that the difference between the speed of light and sound would not really matter.
Day and Night cycles are not possible because of baked world lightning. The slight light changes and the lightning is only faked.
Sorry to hear that. But there is some trick to it. Had you seen that hints were displayed when you are back in the saddle after you have died several times?
The front attack can always be dodged by being not near the center but I guess it could also be hard to guess when he is doing it. But generally he will try to bite you when you a near the center and make the fire breath when you are on a side. There is also the trick to it, forcing him to make his fire breath by going to a side and after that you always have the chance to hit him because then he will cough. 1. the lance poles are much les broad then the rider and horse! So it is fine as it is.
2. Would be too annoying. Also, it is fun to scratch obstacles on purpose that is why there is also the scratches insurance mechanic. (ever found a troll?)
3. There will be "hats" for further customization (see the wigs image in screens.)
4. Would be too tricky to get enough variation and balance it, also longer jumps are not always a advantage.
