We've thought long and hard on the subject of legal issues and have made decisions that we feel could save the mod from a 'Cease and Desist'.

The images you saw there were in-game, but they're incomplete and will go through a minor series of changes.

Are the images in your gallery for Halo : Ring of Destruction in-game shots of your mod? And I hopeyou are aware of legal problems. Halo theme mods such as Halogen have been ordered a 'cease and desist' and all of their effort has gone to waste. Please don't make the same mistake.

And yes I read a few of your comments about changing the theme. And I hope this mod gets completed.

Dont you see? If you put Halo on Source, and "fixed" everything that was supposedly wrong with it, it would no longer capture the essence of Halo. It would also be expressing your personal opinion on the game and not the majority, so it probably wouldnt be sought after. This has already been tried before, and the reason no one will help you is because they'll smack you with a "Cease and desist" and you''ll have wasted the effort for nothing... Do you even know what that is? If you ignore it, they'll sue you for thousands of dollars for using their COPYRIGHTED idea. Trust me, I thought of making my own Halo based mod, but i thought it over and saw that it was a bad idea. With the help of a story editor (Ambershee) i came up with this: Foot of the Centaur . If a 13 year old can accomplish this, then you should have no problem with it. Welcome to ModDB.
