RotWK Patch 2.02 created by the 2.02 development is perfect thanks for the patch, I have been playing the game since its first days, and my favorite factions are Mordor and Anger for I do love Witchking and Sauron and I usually play with them. I cannot wait to check what is new, so far I have seen Mordor orc archers have been improved, and I know a little trick with something that makes Mordor invincible :)

I love Necrons and I do use walls, and in this version due to relic resources being limited player can only have one Doom Monolith while in the previous version player could have two plus other top tier weapons so I am gonna switch back to the previous version which is better.

I am an old gamer, ( I am 37) and I have been playing this game since it got released for countless hours... there are some sorts of bugs in the original game that I have even learned how to use those bugs for the betterment of my faction and I only play with either Mordor or Angmar, I have tried many mods that are out there such as Edain and Age of the ring and etc... but this mod is the best one for me, at least people who love darkness and are a fan of Sauron, Durin's bane (Balrog of Moria) and witch-king will love this mod.

Why this mod is great?

--- It increases the health of Mordor battle towers and makes the archers able to use the towers.

--- It makes the Mordor faction build walls around the castle although it is the Isengard faction wall it is better than nothing and the health of the walls is reasonable.

---It has made the Balrog truly grand and powerful, I do remember in the Battle for middle earth I, when you could summon Balrog it was over, for Balrog was overpowered and could lay waste to your enemies, however in Rise of the witch king when you summon the Balrog near the elven castle it takes several seconds for the elves to kill the Balrog with the arrows and towers! You don't even get enough time to see Balrog use its powers. But here Balrog is immense and powerful and you can enjoy controlling a truly great Balrog, I have always thought that when Balrog is summoned it is over for the enemy for it is one of the ultimate powers of the Mordor faction aside from Sauron and Witch king.

What mode needs to be better?
It needs to have Mordor faction have its own walls and battle towers within the walls, Dul Guldur castle style walls and towers would be great.

It needs to allow the player to build towers on both sides of the walls and a little bit further from the walls I mean on the outer side of the walls for currently you cannot do it if you want to have the biggest wards for your castle.

It also needs to give special powers to the witch king of Mordor, practically both Khamul and Morgomir are far stronger than witch-king in more for faction and they can fight and win most of the one on one battles with other heroes but the witch king of Mordor is pathetic its durability (from armor aspect) is unbelievable laughable, he has no Morgul blade power and the hour of the witch king is useless for the hour of the switching in Angmar paralyzes the entire enemy troops for a rather good amount of time.

There are some bugs too which are minor if you want I can mention them too... but overall as I said this mod is so fantastic and great the best mod ever, thanks for this awesome mod.

In Mordor faction there is a small bug, when you order Akhorahil to land on the ground he no longer can mount on a fell beast instead he always chooses a horse, his health bar decreases to 3500.

I do love what you have done with Nazguls they are very powerful as they should be, their building that costs 5000 resources is very cool, however if their building is destroyed their health drops to 3500 which is 1000 lower than normal and even if you rebuild the building their health is stuck to 3500.

Thank you so much for the reply, it means a lot to me, I tested this on my laptop and PC, the same thing happened I am a writer and I write fantasy, I have been playing this game since the first day it got released, I even know how to use the bugs of the game to my benefit, but as I said the first time I played the game , by the darkness balrog devoured the fortresses in three hits and after update it got weaker I just saw the reply I am about to do as you have suggested, I will inform you the result and thnaks again for the Balrog.
The walls of the Morodor faction can be something like the ones in the Black gates, with the ability to have long towers within the walls like Angmar.

Here are some other bugs:
1 Sons of balrog in Saron's power stand idle they do nothing.
2- I activate the great power update form the siege building structure Sauron gets the stone rain but mouth of Sauron despite having a special power gets nothing.
3- I don't remeber exactly while playing with Elves or Isengard don't remeber excatly because raraly I play with other faction, I play with Mordor or Angmar when you use the spell book with 15 number of power the game stops.

I want to report a bug, in Dul Guldur builder only have access to slaughter houses, there is no other option for them to build, I want to mention that have you weakened Balrog? as I mentioned the first time I installed the mod he was able to destroy any fortress in just three hits now he is much weaker especially when it is about elven arrows.

There is an important question, when I downloaded MasterHero Mod (2.4.2)and installed it had an over powered Balrog that nothing can withstand its way and I love that way, this Balrog alone destroys three factions alone and it is super great but when I used the restart last update process from the help menu, the Balrog got killed n seconds by elves wonder what is going on?
I personally think that Balrog must be that powerful and when Mordor summons it, it must bring absolute victory for the Mordor faction so I will never use that option from the help menu ever again.

I have been trying the game with this super fantastic mod, with Balrog I devour the whole game, it is super,super great, there are some stuff that I want to mention.

1- While defending a strong hold, the circle of the heroes are not shown one by one we have to get the heroes.

2- Is the possible for the Mordor to have the walls of its own design?

3- With goblins the bat hero has the witch-king's hour I think that it odd don't you think?

4- The witch-king of Angmar is way superior to the witch-king of Mordor, is it possible to add Morgual Blade to the Mordor's witch-king as well? Also the durability of Mordor's witch-king is weak as well, and since the game added the hour of the witch-king to the Mordor witch king it has been something utterly useless while the Angmar witch king's hour is super powerful, if you hold it for two or three second and release it before the light of the power appear, it will paralyze the enemies and you can use it again and again with out waiting it to be available again, also the mount of Angmar witch-king is not available anymore I wonder why?

5- Age of Ring mod mordor witch-king has a super powerful hour of witch-king, making it to blast enemies like the word of power for Ganfalf (That is the only good thing about that mod in my humble opinion)

Now this is the mod, the real mod I love this mod for this things:

Sauron has 25000 health and is not weak like the original one against the arrows.

By the Darkness and greatest Vampires, I love the Balrog 15000 health and fantastic resilient against everything and its size is indeed very majestic thank you so much, he is like Saruron is exceedingly devastating and its time is so long I love seeing and having Balrog.

I love the shape of Mordor towers and I always wanted the ability to archers get in to it and now four archer squads can enter the tower and their health is increased to 6000 fantastic, incredible.

I have also wanted the Mordor faction to have walls too, though the walls are like Isengaurd's but it so good to have walls with the health of 10000 again thank you so much.

Would you mind adding witching in Mordor faction the Morgul Blade?

I have tried age of ring mod but I didn't like at all, everything is weakened there but this mod is beyond great.

I have one problem, I cannot fix the resolution, I use wide screen Samsung monitor and win 10, please help me with this.

I have played the game Saga with this mod and I have a little compliment, the mod is great of this there is no doubt however again it is the same bitter discussion. I can understand that Arch-Liches can be more powerful than normal vampires but never they can be more powerful than Elder Vampires.

After Level 12 or 13 Elders gain only 9 damage boost while Arch Liches gain 26! which includes 13 to their normal damage and another 13 to their poison damage and with a help of banner for the leader they can literally reach 300 further more with their source being earth/death now they can damage vampires and Elder vampires while Elders Vampires cannot damage Liches and Arch-Liches.

The fact that Nosferatu can handle capital guardians alone and dragons too,shows that Vampires are the monarchs of the undead, they are the ultimate undead, at least for me, would you mind doing something about this?

Greetings dear creator of this mod. I am the person whose life means one word" Vampire" for me Vampires are the ultimate power=Darkness itself=Blood magic=Necromancy and so much more.

I love the changes you have made in the game, Love Nosferatu has the over flow powers, love the fact that Elder vampires need 2000 xp to level up and during each level up their damage is increased by 20 instead of tiny and insignificant 6. I love, do love my vampires now more than even thanks a lot I do meant it.

Another great change is that now we can fight with the most powerful unites in the game, enemies can bring their most powerful units as well and the fights are truly epic in the original game players advances but the enemies remain the same with very weak parties.

Please note that for people like me more powerful vampires means everything I personally don't care about the balance at all when I play with Nosferatu and elder vampires.

To Birdy the creator of this mod:
I have been playing the game with your mod installed, I must admit you've done a great job, now my Elder Vampires are much better with their 75 damage power and their overflow power, I really enjoy them, (Though wish their damage power was 100).

One of the major changes that definitely has improved the game a lot is the land transforming heroes increased leadership to two.
The other great change is the omission of thieves max XP, now thieves can level up too which is great.

I have extra suggestions including:
For the Baroness, the legions' land transforming here, the power that causes enemies to flee is better to be omitted for it causes the hero to gain less XP.

Elder vampires appearance are fantastic but I wonder if we could change their capes to black while the red color goes to their inner part.
Almost all of the units have a good appearance in them however my beloved Nosferato despite being very cool on his horse the picture that indicates him is terrible, I wonder if we could change that too.
The capital structure of most factions are terrible but the undead, I wonder if we could make the Elder Vampires' tower to be the tallest and biggest one inside the capital.

Note: I write this to informs others that I won't get into a discussion with other users over my ideas, I am a vampire freak, the word love is such a pathetic word in comparison to my affinity towards vampires. I don't care about balance in the game, for me all that matters are VAMPIRES.

There is one issue with the game that has been bothering me for too long, whenever I need to do something else with my computer I alt+tan or window key for minimizing the game window but when I return the sound of the game crashed all the time and I have to restart the game form a quick save, I do remember I didn't have had this problem with Windows XP, but with win 7 or 10 the issue seems unsolvable.

For me, nothing has changed, to be honest regarding the enemy factions, however, I agree with you in this, it is unfair for example Phantom warriors are the only chance we have for fighting the capital guardians.
In many, many lores mages are more powerful than fighters but in this game, that logic is ignored.
One great change was for thieves and banshees in the undead faction.
I have not seen the spiders yet, but imagine a spider would paralyze an arch-lich or elder vampire and defeat them that is absurd as well. Powerful undead such as Elder Vampires or Arch-Liches is immune to mind tricks. And Gargoyles belong to Vampires not demons in many lores as well.
Again the idea of replacing werewolves with an asinine summoner is not decent too.

It is my idea and lots of people who love Nosteratu, you can search internet and see for yourself.It also has got nothing to be narrow-minded or something else, as a Vampire lover I want to feel power with vampires, as you do the same with Liches. I already told you Lich is a new term, an undead that is newly entered the games and young generation's minds (14-25 years old).
Various works of fantasy fiction, such as Clark Ashton Smith's "Empire of the Necromancers" (1936), had used lich as a general term for any corpse, animated or inanimate, before the term's specific use in fantasy role-playing games. The more recent use of the term lich for a specific type of undead creature originates from the 1976 Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game booklet Greyhawk, written by Gary Gygax and Rob Kuntz.[2]

Vampires are top undead they are the masters of necromancy without studying it. Bram Stoker in Dracula mentioned it and so many others in different cultures know that, you must be a Harry potter fan that ridiculously claim vampires are not magic, in the game Vampires are mage units so at least game developers know it, being tire 5 shows that Elder Vampires are among the top undead.
I think you're clearly hostile toward vampires like so many others these days, that is your choice but mine is thoroughly different and the whole universe cannot change that.
Vampires=Darkness=Ultimate power=Hemomancy and Necromancy= being soulless=More powerful than anything.

I have just tested something new, in the new skirmish I tsteted these:

Battle 1:

Nosferatu+ five Elder Vampires against Three Timaths

Winner: The Timaths

Battle 2:

Nosferatu+ five Arch-Liches against Three Timaths

Winner: The Nosferatu+ three remanining Arch-liches

Result:
Despite that both Elder Vampires and Arch-Liches are tire five mages and at least they must be equal in power the Arch-Liches are more powerful.
Notice that the secondry power of any unit in level 99 increases to 300 that means that now Arch-Liches in level 99 can deal 600 damage while Elder Vampires would stick to 300, that means that now Arch-Liches can take down capitals something that Phantome warriors with their paralizing abilty could and can acomplish.
I do think that Elder Vampires deserve better.
Note: SInce Demons can have the over flow power why Nosferatu can't have that??

On the contrary in the vast majority of legends vampire are considered exceedingly magical, they are magic themselves, I have read.
Vampires cannot be harmed by anything, the idea they burn in sunlight was introduced by the film Nosferatu, in Bram Stoker's book it was clearly written that Vampires have inborn ability of Necromancy and Dracula can walk under the sun, only a stake through the heart can destroy the vampire, the rest are the things damn movies have put in people's minds.

Well, I checked the mod over and over with both liches and Elder Vampires, the secondary power of the Liches has made them more powerful I mean the poisoning ability, for me demons having the overflow power were the most annoying part, however for compensation it would be great idea to do one of these suggestions:
1- We can add 20 Armor to Vampires.
2-Adding secondary damage ability to Vampires as well.
3- Increasing the Elder Vampire's damage to 100
I would prefer the third one so I would like to ask the mod maker to do this to the Elder Vampires and if you think it is too much you can increase the building cost of their building. Also would like to add 10 by ten to Elder vampire's damage power each time they advance.

i do know about the fighter unites, when Nosferatu is powerful enough you can put him in the front along five Elder vampires in this case you have almost an invincible party killing all in their path except the capital guardians and divine beings.
I must also add party of Arch Liches would get owned even by one lousy zombie too, that is the logic of the game which is totally absurd, while Zombies are immune to death magic, elder vampires and Liches are not immune to physical damage. There are wrong things with game logic as well.
The word Lich is a new thing was introduced by the game dungeons and dragons, of you search Wikipedia it is written liches are vampires (I remember it was written liches will become vampires...I am not sure about this part though.)
Because Vampires are so popular they have been humanized they are more like humans these days, but Nothing is more powerful than ancient vampires, yes newbies are weak but Elders and more ancient ones are something that gods fear. Vampires are the ultimate monster, drinking blood is the metaphor of drinking the essence of gods who created life, because they are soulless they are totally free of the gods' grasp while all others have souls that can be influenced by gods.

yes, at least they must be equal, phantom warriors can take the capitals and without them, it would be almost impossible to bring down the capitals, however, that is the reason I am dissatisfied. Vampires must be the top undead I even didn't like the system and logic of the original game but it is better than the mods that make demons steal vampires' power and updates liches and does nothing to vampires to be what they really deserve to be.

And you are like the universe constantly expanding!
Vampires are inborn mages while mages are not vampires, Vampires have the two most powerful forms of magic both Necromancy and Hemomancy.
An arch lich is just a human necromancer who has ascended to undeath, they are not even a far cry of vampire magic.

I have uploaded eight pictures 01,02,03,04,05,06,07 and finally 08 as you cab see I created a simple map for a quick skirmish and here is the result as you can see in the pictures, a Nosferatu level one with only full leadership, having a shade and four elder vampires managed to defeat three tire 5 demons with difficulty and it was possible because shade lowered their damage drastically however when elder vampires were replaced with three arch-liches the story changed they defeated the tire five demons easily in comparison to elder vampires. And it is highly possible they can do it without the shade my point is, what hostility people have towards vampires, they are the top undead not liches.
