I think that the northern men would have music that has more acoustic instruments like guitars and violins and have a more menacing feel to it, since they are a part of an evil faction. Also, I think this one is a little too fast. I like the melody and the rhythm and the drum play, but I still think that this should have acoustics at its focus and the other instruments as support.

I have played a map called "Legends", which was a D&D-like custom map for bfme2. What you guys are doing here, however, is freaking amazing! I mean, it's like having a kotor stilled Tolkien game! I am curious however, will we be able to control other heroes other than the custom heroes down the road? or is this something specific for custom heroes only?

Also, this is a question I've had in my head for a while now, the customizations on rangers, elves and men were all the same, mostly. Is it possible for you guys to release a skin pack for the custom heroes? I mean, I really wanted my elven hero to look like one of the armoured soldiers of the Thranduil's realm, or have the ranger with the same kind of outfit as the main character in Shadow of Mordor. Hell, I'd even take an option for my uruk hero to have one of those tower shields like those 5-uruk shield battalions do! I know that it is not your main focus, and in fact, its far from that, but IT REALLY WOULD BE NICE TO SEE MORE OPTIONS WHEN CREATING A HERO!!

Hmm, I'm not really good with arguments and all, but can't you just have an ability that changes depending on the weapon? say that one that increases firing speed? Make it so that it does its thing when the bow is equipped and if the hero has a toggle and has a sword selected, it turns into blade master? Ofcourse the cooldown would be shared so that you couldn't just switch weapons and use the ability again.

Also, why can't an elf mount a normal horse, becoming a horse archer? That would be extremely awesome, if you balanced it out with "while mounted the range of fire is decreased by (insert % here)".

And my last question is -why is Glorfindel so underpowered?- I mean I know you can't make him totally op, BUT if you want it to be lore accurate, level 10 Glorfindel should be able to 1v1 a Balrog, or at least so I have read in Third Age Total War.

Fix me if I'm wrong, because I know I am. I just want to know where. Thanks for such an amazing mod and keep up the good work!

cant someone script for all the gates to spawn closed at the start of the game? this bug only happened to me at the start of the game anyways

well thnx that cleaed up the mess and condusion in my head, but by saying "there is a submod reintroducing the Wizards", do you mean there is one out for Edain 4.0+ or do you mean the older versions?

Also you say that not all maiar are wizards and that they dont mess with the evens of middle earth, but it dosent mean that there could be another potential custom hero class just called "Maiar" that would introduce non-wizard demigod like heroes with new powers and possibilities? of course I mean in the submod that you are talking about.

Also, I know that it is probably a lot to ask, maybe even too much to ask, but is it possible for you guys to do the same thing for rohan in terms of ring heroes as you did for dwarves? I mean can rohan have Thengel revived from the heroic statue as well? As another option for the ring hero? I just really want to see Thengel as a part of this game xD

Alrite, so this is my first time ever using moddb to try and do this, but I was wondering if anyone from the Edain team will read this message, hope they do, because I really really really DESPERATELY want wizards AKA maiar in this mod. Now lets get this clear, I only recently got edain mod and my friend said that there are no custom heroes of "wizard" class in the mod itself, reason being wizards are considered maiar. Now I spent the longest research of my life looking things up (20 mins at most :/) and here Lotr.wikia.com it clearly says about maiar "They were supposed to be numerous, yet not many were named". So why can't there be a class for "The unnamed Maiar" aka "wizard" since the exact number of the maiar in the world is unknown. This may end up sounding stupid, but as I said I am VERY desperate, because the wizards are my 2nd favourite class (rite after dwarves - the leap is great) and I really want them to be a part of Edain 4.0+ because I REALLY MISS THEM SO MUCH. Even if it is not possible for wizards to be in the mod, someone smarter than me please explain why not?! PLEASE!??!?!?
