Hello!
I am a user that is on the site pretty often (So expect replies that are in atleast 1 day most of the time).
I make mods but mostly just simple ones that change something in the game or how a game works.
I also like sourcemods from the games Portal (/2) and Half-Life (/2/ep1/ep2/Alyx).
If you have made a mod you want me to check out or you want to give me a suggestion to play a mod, ask me and i will try it as soon as i have free time.
I like mappacks of games also and i really like it when people introduce new mechanics to their mods (while still sticking to the original formula). But i stil really like mods that are completely different from the game (like The Stanley Parable (Mod release) or Water (Half-Life 2 Mod).
I will always like to reply to anything and i will not randomly stay silent for a month or two (or more).

So let me keep this sweet and short. If you go to chapter 4 (office part) you can kill the person that is gonna get eaten up by a barnacle in one second (yummy!) by just shooting at his head (or body but you waste more ammo and it takes longer) before exiting the vent. The trigger is right outside of the vent so as long as you are fully in the vent you can easily kill him. Because the barnacle is not summoned yet (or discovered) he does not appear as the character (scientist) has to be standing there and you have to be out of the vent to trigger it. It is pretty much impossible for this to take multiple tries as it is really easy. some events never play out because he never got eaten.
But, you can still progress (and kill the other scientist if you want).
I have ONLY tried this on the definitive edition (/Steam edition) so i do not know if the current version still has it. But i AM pretty sure it does because i have never heard of them restarting with all chapters.
