You dont have to break the crates, you can submit to your mind and suppress the memories, ignoring what your [the players] heart is telling you is true

I really like how you put so much meaning into these mods, where they just make you sit and think about what everything means. To anyone who is wondering what this mod is, imagine Braid made into a Half Life 2 mod. Am I right into thinking that this issue was about how the mind can tell you to do something other than what you know is right and you can choose whether to follow your heart or your mind?

It was okay for a pre-alpha. Ill be interested to see what you do with it.
My 2 major beefs/glitches are 1. One time i ran towards the rock boundries and jumped and went flying 50 feet into the air, but that was once and i couldnt do it again, and 2. PLEASE change the jumping sound. it was way too sexual souding, i was afraid my parents were gonna come in thinking i was watching porn or something. Also i picked up a map thing that i didnt know what it was and did not tell me if i could use it or something

I dont think you should change it, but you could add a very inconspicuous secret easy way to do it. You could almost jump the gap in the test. Like move the platform on the other side a few centimeters closer so that you can jump it with a very well aimed jump.

It took me a couple tries but i got it.
Also i found a weird glitch where i managed to shoot a portal on the grated walkway, i accidentally fired another portal so it went away but i couldn't get it to do it again.
