The particles look cool. They maybe could use some more lighting (so they are even a little brighter), but that's up to you.

But the ship models appear pretty fuzzy even on 1080p in the video. Might be an issue of lighting as well, and/or textures.

I tried the demo. Since I am a native German speaker, I tested the German loca - it *hurt* my mind! Don't use automatic translators! I tried to go back to English in order to understand the texts but that's not possible. So I re-installed the game and played the first two levels (in English). While I was pretty successful (I guess), it still felt like being overrun all of the time, pretty frustrating. That's where I quit the game. I liked the graphics, though.

Both. We will mainly use animations, but there will be ragdoll physics where it makes sense (uneven ground).

Yeah, I see. The issue is that the model is a little bulky which looks quite okay as it is (to me), but as soon as you add the little light dots, it's getting pretty obvious and just doesn't look good in the end.

Weapons from AAA titles are highly detailed in texture and mesh (especially around the parts of the light dots), that makes the light dots look good. They just didn't look good on the otherwise flat weapon surface here.

Excellent question!
They will definitely be used for space cutscenes and probably as NPC vehicles. We might even make them drivable, depends on the planned scale of the full game project which varies from time to time (we're still focussing on developing another demo release so far).

Hi Leon, I sure remember transferring very detailed feedback points from your PM to my to-do-list :)

The decision to deny that different rooms are accessable depending on the chosen difficulty level was not based on the hard work (wouldn't be such a big deal here) but we wanted the game to remain the same for all players, not matter how experienced they are with the FPS genre.

More enemies is a good option indeed. We will use it, but very smoothly only in order to keep the framerate up for the insane guys ;)

It's alright. You mentioned a good point. We plan to have characters with faces in the full game, but not in the coming demo.

The screenshots and the teaser are taken from a test level we created especially for testing the new features, mainly to challenge the new AI to handle certain situations. We didn't have the time to focus on new environment media so far.

We thought about releasing what we've got, but the thing is: There was too much left on the to-do-list even for the first levels like voice acting and story elements that would make such a release nothing else but a rather bitter gameplay experience without levels that really make sense, as you sometimes really don't understand what's happening.

We will probably launch a new project soon, we'll stick with FPSC (sorry), but use the latest engine version that allows post processing effects, ragdoll and much more. However, I've learned from this not to make any further promieses :(
