The AI was sending so many stacks at me I was forced to assasinate their generals with the Morag Tong and ransom or execute any enemy soldiers I captured. I was playing as House Redoran and got betrayed by Telvanni, so vengance was swift. I had Archmagister Gothren himself assassinated with only a 12% chance of success.

Also, the mod is perfectly secure. Don't worry.

I've never noticed this error. Most people, myself included, either forgot about it or ignored it, seeing that "cloack" is a minor error for someone whose first language isn't English. English spelling is very inconsistent compared to other languages. The people who make this mod are Russian and they try their best (and do a great job), so there's no need to be so critical. Besides, they'd likely fix it if you pointed it out to them nicely, but rudeness will do nothing.

Medieval II mods are usually built off of Kingdoms DLC and don't modify the base game, unlike other games in the Total War series. You launch each mod seperately in the mod folder and can still play the base game. It's something players of other games in the series can't do. The only thing is that if you have the Steam version of the game, you need to make a copy of Medieval II.exe and rename it Kingdoms.exe for mods to launch seperately. This means that yes, separate mods are compatable, as long as you don't install them over the base game.

Did you edit the descr_sounds_accents file by accident? If so, edit this and change them back.

Edit: Delete events.dat and events.idx, along with voice.dat and voice.idx, for the changes to take effect.

"Stormcloak" is singular (and Ulfric's surname), "Stormcloaks" is plural. Both are correct in English.

Try downloading the mod again. Delete any old versions of the mod you may have and then install it to the mods folder.

It depends on the faction you play as and the buildings you construct, or if you capture a specific settlement on the map.

Efectúe una copia del archivo ejecutable "medieval2.exe" y renombre la copia "kingdoms.exe." Parche ambos ejecutables con el parche 4gb. Tiene que parchear ambos ejecutables o el programa se bloqueará.

Make a copy of medieval2.exe and rename the copy kingdoms.exe. Afterwards, apply the 4GB patch to both executables. Make sure to patch both executables or the game will crash at launch.

You can have separate mod files if you make a copy of your medieval2.exe file named "kingdoms.exe." After that, lauch the mod from its own exe folder.

This only happens in battle. It's not an issue in campaign mode.

Not unless you go into the settings and edit descr_strat. That's the only possible way.

Sorry for posting this comment a second time. I'm just trying to help.

I use the Steam version of the game and had the same issue. After you make a copy of Medieval II.exe and rename it Kingdoms.exe, use the 4GB patch on both the original .exe file and the Kingdoms.exe file for the mod to launch correctly. I did this since I tried to only patch the copy and it didn't work, but I patched the original .exe file the second time and it launched with no problems. Also, make sure to RENAME THE COPY and not the original.

Make sure to make a copy of medieval II.exe first and rename the copy kingdoms.exe so the game is not confused even more.

The one with the hydra (or whatever sea monster that is) has to be a Maomeri banner, while the first row is likely Ayleid, Falmer (Merethic Era), Dwemer, and Chimer.

Change the accents by going to descr_sounds_accents.txt, which is located in the data file of the mod, and assign each faction to the correct accent. After this, delete events.dat and events.idx, which will regenerate upon launching the game.

Unless a First Era or Metheric Era Campaign were created, there's no way they could be added without breaking the lore. However, they could be included in a First Era submod, which would be very interesting to play, but development on the Fourth Era is more important at the moment.

I agree. The Imperial Pantheon, according to the lore, was adopted by the Forebears, while the Crowns retained the Redguard/Yokudan Pantheon. The Crowns are known for being traditionalists who reject influence from other provinces, while the Forebears are more accepting, hence the reason they adopted the Imperial Pantheon unlike their southern neighbors; it goes against the lore to have the Crown faction worshiping the Imperial or Nordic pantheon; deities such as HoonDing and Ruptga, unique to the Redguard Pantheon, are important aspects of the Redguard culture and way of life, justifying the religion being added into the mod.

Please add the city of Zendar (Zendaria would be a better name for Ancient Origins) to the map. The city had yet to be destroyed according to Calradian lore. Thank you.

Also, you can change the starting year by going into scripts.txt file for the module and replacing the numbers "1257" with something else (just use ctrl-f while in the notepad to look for 1257; it only appears one time, so finding it is easy). I changed the staring year to 200 A.D. by replacing 1257 with 200.

I understand your stress fully; it's good to know that this mod is still on track. This is one of the most historically accurate mods for Medieval II that I have ever seen, and I'm glad to see that someone has the incentive to make such a wonderful creation.

Good Idea, but I think that the Skyrim looking units should only be used in the 4th-Era Campaigns since it's the only game in the series that takes place in this period. Also, we need Oblivion-looking pikemen, which are missing.

Perhaps we could solve this issue by using the old armors on a separate unit. Use the old armors on a militia unit of some sort, or sergeants.
