Your idea for the imperialists is exactly what the commonwealth are :p. They idealize the Victorian era and base themselves off it, hence the redcoat uniforms.
The Nationalists are essentially British Nazis in everything but name.

Its based in Metro 2033. Stalkers are the name of scavengers that go to the surface to gather supplies for the stations.
