Overview
Inspired by and set in the same universe as Metro 2033, only now set in the murky tunnels of the London underground. Tube 2022 hopes to deliver an engaging story-driven single-player experience as deep and atmospheric as the game and book it's based off of and to hopefully incorporate as much of the game's features as possible on the Source engine.
Story
You take the role of Martin, a stalker-in-training for the Clapham Alliance During his first mission (and first time on the surface since the day the world ended) an anomaly appears, disrupting what should have been an easy job. After making a mad dash back for the safety of the tube station as his fellow stalkers got sucked in by the anomaly Martin learns that such an anomaly was unheard of anywhere in the underground, and that is rumoured to lead to the tunnels beneath Whitehall where untold fortunes await any 'lucky' enough to find themselves there. Martin leaves the Clapham Alliance and embarks across the underground for the Commonwealth to find help in locating the anomaly again, making new friends and enemies along the way and getting caught up in a plot that decides the fate of all the underground.

I don't mean to be "one of those guys" but is this mod still alive? I've been looking forward to an update...
Is this project still alive? If so, just wanted to let you guys know that the Metro 2033 Universe book series is officially spreading to Britain with the book, "Metro 2033: Britannia." It's going to be written by Grant McMaster and will be translated from English to Russian for the Russian readers. Hopefully that means it's going to be published in English as well, and hopefully that encourages you guys to show more progress or anything like that. :) Here's the link to the article. I suggest translating it using Google or something similar.

If you can manage visuals that rival the likes of Raindrop and Dear Esther remake, I'd play.
You might as well have said "If you can make this the most aesthetically beautiful mod to date, then I might have a play!"
