Some of them were obviously just put there to downvote the mod a bit. People who were obviously butthurt, infact if you count them there is 17 and there were at LEAST 9 people who consistantly flooded this comment section complaining about it.

My note its actually quite good, weird to get used to and I havent played ALL that much but so far it looks original and I look forward to getting past the main parts at the start to see the rest of the levels specially the ones towards the end of the game :)

Here is a conspiracy theory for you... dev22111, Monarch and the rest are all just alt accounts the devs made to heavily troll the forums and cause chaos.

Maybe that is why they are called Caustic.... Creative.... :P

The game had many bugs, just not anything visable, along with a lot of map peices that had no use or requirement left behind during development.

Same with every engine, the answer is not fixing all the bugs the answer is ensuring the ones that will bother players are not present and the ones that cant really be seen aren't this is usually what happens with the end product, which is good because it shows the devs are working well with a product that is not perfect, as no tools are.

If you ever experience any issue though. It will be windows 10 related and you should be searching on problems relating to that before checking the game/mod. Only real issue I know so far with windows 10 that still exists is it doesn't always install graphics drivers properly and it is easily fixed.

Side note though windows 10 is still crap compared to windows 7 and even 8.1 if it has been less that 30 days I would revert your install.

No it is not, and if you actually read the comments they did already say what it was about, it was literally all about promotion as they even said from the beginning without giving you FULL disclosed details of why. And tbh dont take this the wrong way they dont even have to, it is their work its not upto anyone to say what they must tell the public that is the creators choice.

But yes... it was literally square enix promoting the mod in some way from what they have mentioned.

Yeah I agree, the only time I will EVER torrent is if I cant get a demo and I want to know if its going to work on my system, you should always pay for games you want to see future progress on as these people cant work for nothing, fair enough if you download it and it doesnt work, then obviously your not going to pay for it.

I dont think they would particularly have to speak to Square about that. I think it is literally just they get promoted as a great mod (which they deserve)and Square would most likely approve of this for two reasons.

1. People may buy more copies of the original game in order to play it with a new modern look to it (as it would be hard for some to play it as the original)

2. It may raise the hype for Mankind divided as the story is all linked.

Yeah I agree, while it is probably true, I trust the posts on here and the main site more than anywhere else tbh XD though it may be good news, another playthrough of DX and then on to Fallout 4 :)

Also one of my favourite things about the game is how much they kept changing it before it was released, it was really up and down XD

secondly deus ex could be seen as a buggy, unoptimized, unfinished, graphically-poor game, cant be viewed as abandoned though. If you knew the history behind the game you would know it was made over a long period of time with a guy and his friends in the attic of one of their homes, it wasn't a fully published game at that point, and then it was released commercially without being changed and regardless it was a successful game and for its time it was an incredible peice of work.

Now even though there were bugs, they could have only gotten worse over time with new hardware coming out and new operating systems the compatability on the game would vary specially when modding it comes into play.

Now finally just because you havent heard anything yet doesnt mean its not happening, when they have repeatedly stated "we are not releasing more news til it is final" means they arent happy with all the "soon" updates so would rather do the right thing for the next one. So please for the love of god monarch please stop whining, I mean from the looks of it your quite clever you could be spending your time actually asking questions, like asking about the bugs or anything like that infact I am pretty sure the devs had a log of bug reports somewhere. but stop putting all these useless negative comments on here they will just be ignored.

Come on people you think you are speeding this up by bitching at them, if anything you are slowing it down, lowering their motivation to get this done because they have the weight of the public on top of them for it.

Be patient and positive, dont be pushy and let the devs know you support their work. It would go a long way. :)

I don't even know what your problem is? They have confirmed that it will be released VERY soon and they have stated the reasons we were being kept waiting for more news. If anything they have answered every damn complaint you have had up until now, then you come up with another. So either you are a very up settable person or you are a troll.

No? Then stop acting like a spoiled brat they don't have to give this to anyone its their work. Not yours and after years of work they are handing this out for free. Yeah that's right FREE.

As for the comments complaining about promotional stuff. Ever think that might be adding this to a portfolio to achieve funding or work from another company? I mean someone working this long would impress me as an employer/investor/partner. Give them some breathing room for Christ sake.
