that's not actually CSM, that's a giant projected texture, so of course it's expensive. no amount of hardware is going to solve that.

Also I just wanted to point out that pretty much everything up to this point has been made by me, and me alone. Im not flexing or anything, I'm just trying to give some more context as to why its taken as long as it has.

A little over 3 years later and we're still a long way off from being done, but the work weve done has bee incredible
chapter 2 IS being worked on, i'm taking lessons learned from chapter 1 and am putting more time into making it much clearer what you're supposed to be doing, chapter 1 is also going to get a slight rework to make your goals clearer, as well as subtitles and some general clean ups
PBR has been implemented, so that's pretty tight, things are lookin fancy as hell

yeah, i was worried people might think it's a shitpost, it's very much not, this is made with a lot of love and care and is a heartfelt love letter to the campy horror genre
uh oh, the earth is being attacked by evil creatures, here's some guns, go to town. basically a fast paced high mobility shooter with a half-life theme

mod is still being worked on, don't worry guys, i've made some pretty significant progress in terms of gameplay mechanics and features

would you guys want a multiplayer version of this as well? the idea being both co-op and deathmatch-type gamemodes.
not really, i'm not doing anything particularly resource intensive. it may slow down a bit during really big battles due to the nature of source npcs, but nothing unreasonable or gamebreaking.
