at this point I wouldn't install this mod anymore. We're checking into this when the workshop version of the reloaded mod is ready. The mod uses a template that is now old and defunct because valve updated portal with the puzzle editor.
What I'm going to try is to build a new mod template from scratch and hopefully it will be populated with the correct up to date files. Then I'll add in the new maps and required scripts and we have to test the new situation.
The whole reason why I started the stand alone mod was because there wasn't an easy way for me to deliver all my custom stuff. THis has changed with 2 magic things, namely pakrat and the workshop.
I would like to begin a discussion to see if someone is even looking forward. The advantage of the mod is that - when it works and doesn't cause these update bugs anymore - will provide you with custom elevator movies. The rest is highly upgraded and the level design of the workshop version is superiour also.
I've been rather busy with my new itunes album, but that's out of the way now and I'm waiting for my partner to discuss some things really. Either we could release reloaded on steam workshop, or as a stand alone mod. If I find the time I should be able to research if all the technical background is solid enough for making our custom elevator movies work and that sort of stuff. The new map is really coming allong, it'll be again something new introduced to the portal universe :)
I have to say though that I'm not certain if it's for this year or next :P
I know, I was thinking about this too but it requires allot of work on my end too to repack stuff. Basicly I have to pack everything custom in each map bsp file.
If all pimped maps are finished, I'll see if I can work this out.
you could either try the zip archive and/Or disable your firewalls while installing. Sometimes this installer isn't liked by some scanners whom think that it's a virus but it's not.
In true team DELAY fasion, there will be ofcourse a DELAY, we would have chosen another name if it wasnt he case :P. Ofcourse this has to do with the fact that it's only a hobby project and time is NOT on somebody's side rightnow :)
well it's just that I use the browser which accepts the managers for my usb dongles (for music software) more, and with chrome this just didn't work so I just have firefox and even firefox fails sometimes and I need to have explorer installed , because those drivers are optimized for IE primarily
haha, the map has widened and changed since I took that screenshot, and the lasers are already gone lol. But in case when I want lasers, I use the old fizzlers when I want to do lasers and the new ones when I want to use an emancipation grille, just to have some design uniformity to the user too. But well this is useless text now because it's changed significantly. I use these refracted window props now :)

I made that one and it's just supposed to be an intro. If enough ppl petition for this I might consider to make a long arranged version. After all it's a valve theme rearraged for symphonic orchestra to make the intro a bit cinematic.
did you update your graphics card drivers ? I heard that if you have crashes it could be that problem
for this problem, please visit the tutorials section to find out what to do. You could play right away but without hydra by adding -nosixense in your command line options, but you better go for the tutorial to see a more permanent solution.

it was already a long time ago on twp. I had to reupload the package because I made one silly mistake in the bonus level when adding the voices lol :P I think that's why It took extra long.

I want to inform that a halloween release was not possible due to certain factors. I wanted to give my maps another optimization and detail sorting run and the last GLaDOS voices still needed to be added. I need to subject my patch to a pretty decent test run with my team and other people. So I hope I can release it this week. I hope that you can respect that my team members are individuals with their own lives and agenda and that this is just a hobby project.
Still I'd like to appologize but the patch is really coming and I'm 20% more satisfied of my mod now!

yup. quite a few changes. The mod got now a fresh coat of polish and fixes.
I however feel it's not important to add an own logo , as this isn't intended as a "total conversion mod" but more like an extra portal campaign , a fake dlc let's say.
well here it's kind of part of the dreamworld you are entering and if you use it too much it risks becoming a gimick but theres certainly some interesting stuff you can do with it.
WHat video card do you have ? do you have the latest drivers ? let's start with that..
well I'm using that on the exit, for this I was just thinking that for the altar these thick ones have the right aesthetics for it...
it does, but I tried to unhide the single player menu for save/load within the main menu but nothing will load. I'm not sure what causes this yet so I'd rather let the user play all chapters.
It's strange that you should have that, could you maybe remove the video.txt from the cfg folder (in the mod, not in the portal 2 dir). Or maybe check your integrity of the installation of portal 2 itsemf.
It's just that when you are loading a savegame from the mod it doesn't seem to wanna load somehow so I have hidden the load/save menus and you can choose all chapters. I just don't know how to solve this rightnow.

it's a matter of "WHAT" portal that you place more than where you place it in that map.
