Excellent mod, I'm loving it, as good as Crazy which is what I usually use.

How many can you have in a fleet? I like to have 2 big fleets, typically:

3 Arcans
3 Dunovs
4 battleships
3 carriers
3 dreadnoughts
40 frigates
100 cruisers

is this too much for the game to handle?
I notice that during an attack a lot of the ships seem to be doing nothing.

Hi, can't wait for Crazy 3, I love this mod far more than any other.
Suggestions: 2 more factions
an either/or element to 1 of more research trees
choice of Titans
choice of Doomsday weapons
ability to have more Titans eg 2nd Titan costs 3 Capital
crews
3rd Titan costs 4 Capital crews etc.

Got the patch, installed and working no problem.
I usually play as Tec/Feds on the Hard level and usually win.
Not now though! Played Random Vast twice and got hammered, 3rd attempt is going better but I've got the Borg as my nearest neighbours to the right, ho hum.
I often play the Crazy mod which I love, they give loads more ships 20+ Caps etc but I've noticed that with a huge fleet lots of Frigates and Cruisers don't contribute in a fight so I'd like to know if STA has fleet size limits and, if so, what are they please.

Hi, I don't know why but I've been able to play the game all day, no crashes. I haven't solved any of the outstanding issues (LAA etc) but I have updated some codecs, that couldn't do it could it?
Also I've noticed that the Diplomacy tree won't develop past level 4 even though all the other trees are fully developed and I have fully developed the Dip tree up to level 4, unless I've missed something else?
So far I've had 2 good battles against the Klingons (i'm playing as the Fed). the visuals were stunning, I'm going to record the next one.

Hi, I still can't do the LAA thing. I've looked at Intermediate and Advanced but I'm not sure what to do, the Imstructions pdf doesn't mention them, and in any case there doesn't seem to be any way of saving the results.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I'm rapidly losing whats left of my hair.
ps when playing as the Fed I've noticed that there is a choice of leviathans, can I have both or must I choose?

A thought occurs, is it possible to work out what those people who've installed without problems are doing compared with those of us who are having problems? I know, for example that I'm not expert at all, what seems easy or obvious to some or most people could be over my head.
"Installation for Dummies" might prove useful, certainly in my case.

Hi, I've reread my previous post and yes it was unfriendly, sorry about that. In my defence I can only say that I posted it at the end of a day of frustration and disappointment. I had, perhaps, being looking forward to this mod too much and thus let it spill over into words.
The mod is truly beautiful and you can all be rightly proud of it. I'm sure that you will solve all the teething troubles in due course.

Hello again, I ve found the LAA application and the Install instructions.
1, Which one in the file path is the .exe? There are 6 applications listed as well as several folders.
2, The LAA application launches a small box, even if I succeed with step 1 I can't proceed to steps 2,3 etc because they are unreachable. the box won't expand and it won't scroll.

I watched the intro vid earlier, very pretty and at 1:54 is about the same length as an average game before it crashes!
And they want our votes for Mod of the Year? I don't think so.

Hi, mine crashes too, I've tried to do the LAA thing (see above) but to no avail.
Worse though is that every time that I try to disable the mod the game crashes when I click on Enable Changes so that I'm stuck with the STA3 mod enabled.
Something curious that I noticed, when I first installed the mod it enabled itself and disabled the Crazy mod thay I'd been using.
I think that I'm going to have to uninstall Rebellion completely and go for a clean install. I'll wait a while first though and see what other solutions people can come up with.
ps I have Win7.

Hi I thought that you'd like to know that I'm currently playing against the AI at Rebellion in the Random Huge game as Tec Loyal set at the Viscous level. Doing ok so far.

Hi, I've been playing this mod for a while now, crashed a lot at first (see my earlier post), turned out to be my GPU not being able to cope.
Since I've toned down on the graphics quality everything has been fine.
I'm currently playing Huge, Multi, Tec, Loyal, Hard with no problems at all.
In fact I prefer Crazy to the standard game.
Thought that I should let you know.

Hi, I have your v1.82 using it with Reb v1.8.
I've just tried it on map Systems of War and I noticed that the build icon for the Percheron is missing.
I've also used this mod on Reb v1.82 (beta) but it kept crashing.
Advice would be appreciated please.
